We walked the walls of Dubrovnik, around the towns of Korcula & Hvar, and saw the Greek ruins on Vis and went to the top of the mountain on Brac before visiting the Diocletian palace at Split. We cruised between all these places on a beautiful gulet with a brilliant chef, a great crew, two great guides, Filip and Mislav with just six other like-minded passengers, it was all most enjoyable.

Once again had a great holiday experience sailing on a turkish gulet , this is the 4th trip Ive done with this company and can highly recommend them.The tours are well planned and thought out, you learn so much about the historical past ,whilst seeing the beauty of Turkey.

Peter Sommer Travels are well organised , helpful and friendly staff. The trip destinations cover a number of different areas and are done in such a way that you are seeing the best of a country's historical past , its current culture and food.

From the moment our guide collected us we were in excellent company: with six other like-minded passengers we were able to explore the beautiful sea and islands around Croatia, visiting the historic and archeological sites with two very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly young guides. The boat was a beautiful wooden gulet with a splendid crew of four, including the most fantastic chef who prepared every meal with meticulous care. Being moored up by a small island at the beginning or end of the day gave blissful swimming opportunities, when we travelled from one island to the next there were opportunities to sunbathe, read and relax. It was all totally perfect... we cannot wait to go again with this company on another adventure.

Peter Sommer was unknown to us, my local travel agency, Off Broadway Travel, very cleverly discovered them for us, and through their agents, ITC arranged our booking with Peter Sommer and our flights and onward travel. It was the first time our local travel agents have used Peter Sommer and.I feel sure they would be pleased to recommend them again.

We visited 7 ancient cities in as many days. They fed our minds and our body's with joy and passion beyond compare. We walked away with plenty to read and think about and we are definitely thinking about when to do it again.

Each step was provided with great skill and enthusiasm, from Peter's and Julie's introduction, to Ugur's welcome and guidance, to Olivier's knowledge about archeology. (uploading images failed)

Two weeks in a gullet with a wonderful crew who looked after our every need looking at Greco-Roman sites on the Lycian Coast. We enjoyed the services of a knowledgeable and helpful archaeologist and our holiday was managed beautifully by Cem Yucesoy who redefines the word 'fixer'. He ensured everything ran like clockwork and made it all look effortless. We were blessed with travelling companions who were both 'sympa' and like minded.

Peter Sommer Travel looked after us beautifully. It was the first time we'd used him but by day 2 we realised why he has much repeat business - the attention to detail and general professionalism shone through and made for a wonderful holiday

Island hopping from Dubrovnik to Split in a Gulet, and visiting archeological sites accompanied by knowledgeable and entertaining guides. Small group, great fun and fantastic food.

One week with 4 other couples who we did not know, and a smart guy to show us around. We all got along so very well. we actually almost sailed for a few hours. The main sail and main boom had been removed from the boat leaving just the rolling headsail and mid stay-sail. Still sailing.

A small group of experienced travelers joined with Peter who is an expert and engaging archaeologist to enjoy relaxation and mental stimulation on a a Turkish gulet based tour. Peter is an excellent tour guide who puts incredible attention into the detailed needs of his guests The food and wine on the boat were superb. The crew were highly motivated and endearing. There was an excellent mix of downtime and and enjoyment with daily archaeological site visits. The group had time to to socialise and swap their experiences and knowledge. The vibe was good-humoured, collaborative and thoughtful of the needs of each other.

Peter and his team are miles ahead of the usual "packages" and superficial subject matter knowledge guides. Peter's admin team are switched on, prompt and able to to respond to individual needs.

We were thrilled and intellectually stimulated by the ancient sites we visited. The boat was comfortable and relaxing. The meals were excellent.

Peter Sommers Tours are extremely well run. Everything that was promised was delivered. The tour guide was excellent, as was the rest of the staff and the crew of the boat.

A family holiday aboard a Gorgeous Turkish Gulet.....perfection! We sailed up the Turkish coast with the most wonderful crew, a terrific manager or 'fixer', and a delightful archeologist. By day we toured many incredible archeological sites, swam in turquoise coves, ate absolutely delicious Turkish food, in the evenings we also swam, lounged on deck eating, drinking, talking, playing games and having a wonderful time. My entire family loved the experience, and we are planning our next trip with Peter Sommers Travel, this time for two weeks!

Peter Sommer Travels was amazing. They listened carefully to what we wanted in a trip, and tailored an experience that was PERFECT for our family. We love history, swimming, great food, sailing and relaxing. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. Peter Sommer Travels was the best to work with and the experience was unbelievably fabulous.
