We were greeted at Santiago airport and taken to Camarinas to begin our four day walk. Accommodation was very good, our hosts made us really welcome and the food and drink was excellent. We had support from Anzar who advised and booked taxis when the weather was inclement. The route was well signposted, the maps and guides very good. An adventure we really enjoyed.

On Foot Holidays sent us lots of information prior to departure, support was available throughout our stay and lots of practical advice to get the best out of our stay. Everything ran like clockwork.

Honestly one of the best trips we have ever done. Great weather, excellent hiking on uncrowded trails, wonderful food and wine, lovely people and fantastic logistics provided by On Foot Holidays. We would not change a thing except we wish we had done the 10 day trip instead of 7!

On Foot Holidays provided excellent organization and assistance throughout the trip. All included transportation and baggage handling was perfect and all the hotels they booked were great. The maps and instruction booklets were very detailed and the downloaded GPS maps were handy though we only needed them once or twice. The office support at On Foot is excellent as well, highly responsive to all inquiries and always pleasant and professional. We highly recommend this company and will definitely be taking another trip with them in the future!

Absolutely great! The countryside was beautiful and peaceful...weather a balmy 70 F. Food and wine was fantastic. Of course, the architecture of everything is always amazing to a person who lives in a 250 year old country. We walked about 50 miles of the Tuscany countryside for hilltop town to hilltop town, stayed in beautiful and comfortable B & B's, and were just delighted in the whole experience.

On-Foot showed itself to be a professional and very well prepared tour operator in every way. The "Walking Package" that was sent to us was full of very valuable information from history of the area to explicit walking directions to basic travel transfer needs. It proved itself to be completely accurate in all details. On-Foot was very communicative from the first contact we had with them and even on the tour itself. I was delighted with the company!

This is the first time we have used On Foot Holidays and they were extremely helpful and quick to respond to all our questions. The "walkers pack" was very detailed, informative and well presented. The Basque Pyrenees Walk encompasses culture, history, a unique language, stunning countryside, friendly locals, regional food and wine, an interesting variety of accommodation, abundant wildlife, accurate route notes and importantly the most amazing local contact in Aznar who could not have been more helpful. We loved this walk from the peace and tranquillity of Ziga on Day 1 to the hype of San Sebastian at the end.

Faultless from the start. Great comms via email throughout process, local contact Aznar was exemplary - supportive and very helpful especially on the 2 days we could not walk due to rain, the route notes easy to read and possibly the most accurate we have experienced over 10 walks with 5 different walking companies. Background information was comprehensive, travel tips were also comprehensive and relevant. Could not fault the service received from On Foot at all.

We did 7 days of walking for Ljubljana, Slovenia to Trieste, Italy. We had the opportunity to visit many tourist sites in Ljubljana before beginning our walk crosscountry to Trieste. The country is absolutely beautiful, and we loved our interactions with hosts and people in the small villages.

On Foot Holidays provided day by day itineraries including directions and topographical maps. They organized all of our accommodations as well as providing for the movement of our luggage. We felt we had very good logistical support in the event of any unseen circumstances (which we did not have). This was one of our very best vacations.

On Foot have been consistently helpful and well informed throughout the entire holiday process - from booking through to the actual holiday. Interestingly all the hotels and taxi companies that they used for the holiday were also extremely complimentary about them as a holiday partner.

This was our first walking holiday, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The scenery was breathtaking, and accommodations were excellent. We also enjoyed the variety of experiences (walking through fields, woods, and towns), and the interesting sights along the way (castles, waterfalls, medieval dwellings). We also liked the challenge of following the detailed instructions.

we walked the Camino de Pharos in Galicia in about 12 days, staying in hotels booked by On Foot ( OF ) for us. OF also arranged all the taxi transfers for luggage and for lifts for ourselves, via their local representative, Aznar

OF gave us excellent service both at the booking stage and throughout the holiday. The logistics of this type of self-guided walking holiday in a remote area were challenging, but all the arrangements worked seamlessly.
