A memorable walk in Dorset

Six Norwegians, did this walk in six days. Our average age 71, and we had no problems in fulfilling this walk. Beautiful landscapes, nice and charming hotels/inns, excellent food and good beds !

A representative from OnFoot met us the first day in Salisbury. It made us feel very welcome. The walking descriptions and maps detailed and easy to follow.

The materials provided for the trek were highly detailed, the towns, hotels, and restaurants were perfect, and the local support was very helpful. The trails were by and large well marked and easy to follow. The views were beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the small towns we stayed in. They were picturesque, and seemed less traveled. It felt like we had the Pyrenees to ourselves.

On Foot Holidays was prompt with communications and very easy to work with. They supplied detailed notes, maps, and instructions for the walk, as well as several contacts in country. I'd highly recommend a vacation with them.

Walking a Glorious Apennine route

Walking for 6 days with an extra rest day in the middle at the highest point and one at the end, on the Ligurian coast. The walking was on good paths, with varied scenery, all very beautiful and quiet- met virtually no on else! We were very lucky to have excellent weather. The accommodation was all very good and very individual. The food was excellent and the hosts all charming. Everything worked to plan. The views and the flowers were fabulous...

This is our 3rd holiday with On Foot . We have always felt confident that they know what we like and get it right. This applies to the walking- the initial descriptions are correct, then the notes and maps provided are very good. The routes are well thought out and mostly very well marked and the distances have always been comfortable for us.They seem to approach the route planning with intelligence, and respond to everything quickly and appropriately if there are questions or updates or corrections. This intelligent approach also applies to the low key but very good accommodation- they choose the right hosts, in the right places. In planning the holiday, they answer questions about accommodation and possible extensions etc with what seems like an understanding of who we are what we like to do. The people on the ground are good too. We have confidence they can sort out any issues that might arise, small or large. Everyone seems to be on the same page as to the style. You get what you pay for; there are no hidden costs. And there are nice touches, like the provision of relevant timetables, and a phone call the day before the holiday begins to check in with you that all is well and to wish you a nice time! They have many walks I would love to do! I hope we can do another with them soon. (I cannot get the survey to register 10 on the last question about recommending On Foot, but I would like to give it 10)

A Walkers Walk

An amazing 6 day walk along part of the Galician Coast in North West Spain. Everchanging scenery from rugged wave battered rocks to perfect white sand crescent beaches, following the chain of lighthouses to reach Finisterre ( end of the earth). Staying in a variety of different types of accommodation all of a very good standard, sampling the wonderful fresh seafood along the way.

On Foot Holidays provided everything needed, maps, walking notes, accommodation details and suggestions for meals along the route. The very knowledgeable team answered all my questions efficiently from my very first enquiry, nothing was too much trouble. My luggage was transported daily and airport transfers organised, including help with flights and an extra days extension to my holiday at the end.

Amazing adventure on the Camino dos Faros (Lighthouse Way)

Six days of excellent walking along the western coast of Spain, the Costa da Morte (Coast of Death), with first rate accomodations along the way. The maps, directions, pre-planning information, and local support throughout the adventure made this a remarkable vacation.

From the initial inquiry, through the farewell message On Foot provided excellent documentation, recommendations, and trip information. They left nothing to chance. I dont have lots of experience with this type of touring package, but I know this will be hard to beat.
