Stunning Walking on the Amalfi Coast
Walking is a wonderful way to see and enjoy this stunning coastline, away from the tourist crowds. For five days we walked around the Amalfi area and then on to Sorrento, passing through the towns and villages of Ravello, Positano, Sant' Agata etc. Our luggage went ahead and we were booked into lovely hotels where we enjoyed pool and sea swims at the end of a long days' walk. The food and service at all the restaurants and hotels were amazing as you'd expect in Italy. We'd highly recommend it and look forward to the next one.

On Foot are very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible, as our holiday was booked and postponed three times because of Covid. They are efficient and always replied quickly to any questions, and they gave advice and recommendations that were very useful.

Wonderful Walk on the Camino dos Faros
A truly great walk along the Galician coast from Laxe to Finisterra. Beautiful wild flowers in late May. On Foot lodging selection was great and their local representative, Aznar, was always available to assist.

Exhilarating 5-day walk along the northern part of Turkey's Lycian Way organised by On Foot Holidays. Tough but rewarding walking around Mt Olympus. Beautiful scenary, friendly people and good food.

Very detailed and accurate walk notes, maps and background information. GPX file loaded on Android app with no problems and was used throughout the walk. Baggage transfers all worked fine, excellent hotel accommodation and food. A very good holiday.

A great walking holiday but very crowded
We walked from Amalfi to Sorrento. Every day there were many steps to climb and to descend. The scenery was beautiful and we had very good weather. The only complaint that we had was how crowded the towns were and one part of the trails.

On Foot Holidays- they really did a wonderful job organizing our holiday and communicating with us, especially since we had first booked our holiday before the pandemic and had to cancel two times.

On Foot Travel provided really detailed, accurate walking itineraries where we never had to retrace our steps even once. They also recommended an outstanding family restaurant at one location and had organized 3 days worth of taxi pickups and dropoffs.

Galicia's Lighthouse Way
Five female friends in our 60's hiked the 10 day itinerary of the Lighthouse Way. This is an existing route established about 10 years ago. The path followed the undulating northwestern coast of Spain's Galicia region. The route follows the coast and is well marked with small green dots and arrows. We hiked from 9-14 miles (14 - 24 km) daily. The route was along sea cliffs with the waves crashing below. It crossed a dozen almost deserted white sand beaches, with us stopping often to swim or nap. Many times we were hiking up mountains along the coast to windmill farms or at sea level walking along flat paths through the woods. The weather was fabulous with a breeze off the ocean. Our final day had rain. We passed through tiny hamlets, fishing villages and small towns. We visited numerous light houses along the way and stayed in an old lighthouse on the last day. All of the lodging choices we amazing small bed and breakfasts, country inns or small family run hotels. The meals were fabulous with about1/3 of them supplied by our hosts. The local Onfoot contact Aznar kept and eye on us checking in daily and arranging taxi transfers or suggesting dining options. This is one of the best vacations I didn't have to plan myself. I would do another trip with Onfoot in a heartbeat!

Onfoot always responded to our emails very promptly. They answered all of our questions very thoroughly and were very personable. They were patient with us when we were slow to submit required information. They way the trips are designed, the routes, the lodging choices, the restaurant suggestions, the luggage transport, and the local contact were all spot on. We felt well taken care of but not pampered. The maps and route notes were outstanding and arrived in time for us to review them before the trip. Everyone was very kind and helpful especially our local contact who checked in on us including one hiker who got sick.

Food for the soul - walking in Northern Portugal
Undiscovered Portugal - wonderful varied walking through sparsely populated villages and wild flower meadows. Despite being only an hour and a half away from the bustle of Porto we had the mountains to ourselves. Stayed in a couple of very special places (Brufe and Bouro) - would love to return
