Really rewarding walks every day through glorious countryside and pretty, ancient villages and not too arduous for an 80-year-old. We saw very few people en route which was a bonus. The transport arrangements worked perfectly and the local agent was incredibly helpful. The accommodation was excellent, without exception and the food everywhere was spectacular.

Everything worked according to plan. 5 star communication as always. This was our 5th holiday with On Foot and we look forward to planning the next trip in 2024.

Beyond all expectations. Perfect weather and conditions couled with glorious scenery and views made for a spectacular hike. The accomadations couldn't have been better (including the fabulous food). All the hoteliers were lovely people.

Onfoot were extremely proffesional. The level of information and detail that went into our hike was immense and left no uncertainty on our trek. Response times are truly faster than any company I've dealt with, travel or otherwise. I have already recommended them to friends.

We have used On Foot Holidays for a number of overseas holidays and thought that we would see what they could organise for a UK based walking holiday. We were not disappointed and walking on a well devised itinerary and staying in appropriate hotels we had a very enjoyable holiday.

We walked the Lighthouse Way on the Galician coast of Spain (Atlantic Ocean coastline). It was a very challenging walk but all of the arrangements by On Foot Holidays were excellent. This included the accommodations, the luggage transfers, and a few cab starts that make the walk more manageable for us.

All of our communications with On Foot Holidays were very timely and professional. The package they put together for us included very detailed maps and walking instructions that worked very well for us. Their man “on the ground” in Spain was very attentive to our communications and helped us out with a few local arrangements.

Aptly named ‘Bohemian Paradise’ is beautiful landscape with spectacular rock towns. Excellent itinerary giving good walking while allowing the time to enjoy the scenery and providing shortening options. All hotels were comfortable and of a very good standard.

This is our sixth On Foot holiday. As usual the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating. They responded very quickly. Route notes, maps and GPS were sent beforehand which along with details from their local support prepared us well for our trip. Highly recommended.

A group of 9 Australian women hiked from Montalto Pavese to Camogli across the Ligurian Hills in May/June of this year. It was a fabulous holiday and although challenging at times due to the weather, we had the determination & the gear to see it through. The remoteness of the hike was very appealing, the countryside was beautiful and the weather on the whole was great. We loved walking towards the coast and finishing it with a swim in Camogli was a wonderful completion to our hike over the Ligurian Hills. We loved meeting the local Italian people when we arrived at the end of the day, so friendly and welcoming.

The team from ON FOOT HOLIDAYS were fabulous to deal with. We booked our holiday a long time in advance and there were many emails exchanged in the time leading up to departure day. Simon and his team answered every email promptly, politely and nothing was too much trouble. They supplied us with plenty of information about the trip and also supplied us with extra information re train timetables etc, possible excursions, restaurants etc in the places we stayed. Their "on the ground " contacts were fabulous and replied very promptly when we required an urgent pickup of one of our party due to illness. One of our party has used this company many times and recommended them to us. Simon and his team were very professional and extremely friendly & easy to deal with . They also requested feedback which I gave and it was accepted gracefully. We have done many hikes and sometimes feedback is not accepted gracefully, there was no really negative feedback to give as it was such a successful hike . I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon and his team at On Foot Holidays.

It was fascinating to be in the Basque country and to see the pride with which the locals take care of the buildings and the countryside. Everything was clean and well looked after. The places we stayed were mostly very traditional Basque houses and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. However unfortunately we were not 'walking fit' due to earlier injuries we were insufficiently recovered from and as a result had to use the luggage transfer service on occasions, which was obviously frustrating, but we made the best of it.

Very helpful arranging the holiday, very flexible, and during the holiday the local rep was superb in arranging for us to use the luggage transfer option.

Six day supported hike from La Brigue to Menton in the Alpes-Maritime region of France. On Foot provided detailed hiking notes for each day of the hike, GPS files for navigation, booked accommodation, meals and luggage transfer. It was a fantastic week of hiking with jaw-dropping scenery, fabulous quirky hotels in tiny villages in the Alpes, wonderful hosts and wonderful food.

We are from Australia and it is very difficult to find a decent supported hike operator in Europe. This is the third hike we have done with them and we cannot fault the products offered, service, support and value for money.

We walked a route from Hadden's Cove to Dunster, through Devon and Somerset, before traveling to St. Ives to walk a loop along the Southwest Coastal Trail in Cornwall; these two trips lasted about 2 weeks. The landscapes and coastal vistas were spectacular as was the weather. We enjoyed our over-night accommodations no end. These were the second and third walking trips that we have completed with On Foot

In our opinion (we have been serious world travelers for many years), On Foot is quite a remarkable company. Not only are there "front-end" services superb; their "on-foot" services are as well. For example, in this dual trip outing, we ran up against a few unpredictable incidents: Although the company was not responsible for our travel between the two walks, I did contact them for support when it appeared that the rail strike would derail our projected itinerary. Within moments, they were able to tell me how to respond, by telling me to contact National Express Bus on-line and to book bus tickets, and sure enough, we were able to do all of this and arrive in St. Ives in time to start our walk without disruption to our itinerary. On our Exmoor walk, my husband lost one of his hearing aids and when we called the hotel to inquire as to whether this had been found in our room, they apparently alerted On Foot to our predicament and they helped relay the message that the missing item had not turned up. In the event, we think it had blown out of his ear when we were walking on the high Devon coast!! I can only think that this kind of attention is extraordinary, since in neither case was On Foot responsible for us! We also did their walk on the Camino Primitivo in fall 2017--another exceptional experience with the same apparent eye to detail.
