Exceptional, personal service with great attention to detail. As well as an opportunity to provide feedback, which the company was very keen to know so that they could actively take steps to improve the experience.

Another triumph for On Foot
We walked Basque Pyrenees to San Sebastian. The daily routes were challenging but all achievable with some great places to stay and of course recommendations where to find excellent food in the evening. The walk had a purpose heading back to the coast and was meticulously planned from village to village through magnificent green Basque countryside. On Foot are for us consistently the best walking holiday company with challenging routes with a sense of purpose, great places to stay of an interesting variety and good places to eat. They reply promptly when setting up the holiday and working through available dates and the knowledgable staff are all hugely helpful and a pleasure to work with.

A week of walking in the beautiful Dordogne Valley
We spent a week walking through the Dordogne Valley. The walks were nicely curated, taking us through woodlands, fields, valleys, ridges and medieval villages. Accommodations were small hotels and inns and ranged from basic to luxurious. The route notes provided by On Foot Holidays were, as usual, accurate and informative. Accommodations were small hotels and inns and ranged from basic to luxurious. The route notes provided by On Foot Holidays were, as usual, accurate and informative. Taken together with the detailed maps and GPS files they provided, it was impossible to get lost, even in remote areas where we went hours without seeing another person. While this is a self-guided tour, we didn't feel alone, as On Foot's helpful local contact, Emily, was always a text or phone call away to answer any questions.

This was our third trip with On Foot Holidays, and we would be happy to work with them again. I don't know how they manage to be so responsive and efficient with such a relatively small team. They always seem to respond to emails same day (often on weekends and after hours), and even though responses often come from different members of the team, each one seamlessly picks up where their colleague left off. I also particularly appreciate On Foot's truth in advertising. Walking can be a great way to spend a holiday, but there can be challenges along the way -- long journeys to reach the start of the route, muddy or slippery trails after rain, hotels that don't always have a big-city level of service or sophistication, etc. On Foot tries to be candid about what to expect, so we've never been unpleasantly surprised along the way.

Amazing views and lovely people
Walking holiday in the Czech Republic, five days walking. Thoroughly enjoyable, walking through beautiful forests and awe-inspiring 'rock towns'. Good value for money.

Fantastic company. This is the second time that we have booked a walking holiday through On Foot Holidays and the attention to detail is excellent. We would thoroughly recommend them.

An excellent walking holiday in Yorkshire
This was our first trip to Yorkshire. The walking holiday was organized by On Foot. Every aspect exceeded our expectations: the route, the planning, the booking and ongoing support during our walk. The walking directions and maps were spot on.

The Way of the Lighthouses on Spain’s Galician coast
We walked over 100 miles from the old whaling port of Malpica to Spain's Lands End, Fisterra, experiencing exhilarating coastal walking along what must surely be one of the best routes in the world. On Foot Holidays specialise in self-guided walking holidays. They are masters of their craft providing comprehensive walkers’ packs with excellent route notes and local maps. They select and book accommodation, arrange airpot transfers and organise daily luggage transfer as required. They suggest and can recommend places to enjoy an evening meal and, in this case, arrange with their local contact responsible for the route to shorten a day’s walk if necessary/preferred by the client. A personal itinerary is supplied together with useful and interesting information about the area, its history, customs, wildlife, food and drink. This is my third holiday booked with On Foot, I really like the way they operate.

Walking the Amalfi Coast
Spent 10 days on the coast walking from Amalfi to Sorrento with delightful stops along the way. We felt we had the time and opportunity to explore the cultural and historical wealth of the coast. The walks included some steep climbs up the hillsides, but the views were spectacular. The arrangements were seamless.

OnFoot Holidays arranged a walking tour that was well-curated. The route was well-designed, the experience felt intimate with lodgings at smaller hotels/ B&B's. The luggage transfer worked perfectly. The tour operator provided an App that allowed for easy navigation of the walking paths, and the extra information provided about the Amalfi Coast added to the experience.

Wonderful in all aspects- weather, scenery, accommodation, walking, organization.
Two generations of walkers - parents, 2 daughters and their husbands - everyone loved the experience. Rock towns, castles, forests, fields, loads of wonderful new experiences in Czechia. Good support, great trail marking everywhere.

Organization and communication was excellent and timely. Good tips and support throughout. GPS track and maps were accurate and helpful. Background information on the area, accommodation booked, and helpful hints were appreciated. First class organization always available to answer questions and make any adaptations to personalize our trip. It made our trip truly a walk in Bohemian Paradise.
