Our day trip was cut short due to increasing offshore winds in the English Channel, but not before we had enjoyed the sight of nesting seabirds at their ledges on the cliff faces of Portland Bill and the thrill of watching diving gannets and gulls out in the channel, before we headed back to the harbour to be treated to the acrobatic displays of two bottle-nose dolphins and the laid-back world of a couple of grey seals. We thoroughly recommend Naturetrek for their professional handling of the experience and the prompt, fuss-free way they dealt with a generous credit towards the cost of our next trip.

A varied and interesting trip exploring the varied wildlife of Slovenia with an expert guide and staying in a beautiful location amidst stunning scenery. A well planned trip that covered a great deal in a short space of time. We went underground into one of the amazing karst caves, spent time watching bears from wildlife hides, enjoyed the birds and other flora and fauna of this lovely location.

Naturetrek have always shown a high level of professionalism, they communicate well with their clients and we always feel well looked after and valued. They are able to answer any questions put to them and I can not recommend them highly enough as a wildlife travel company. During Covid Naturetrek continued o offer zoom travel evenings, bird watching with guides from around the world as well as day trips when things opened up, they kept up hope in hopeless times.

A specialist naturalist themed exploration of Navarra in Spain. It featured marvellous scenery, a wide variety of birds plants and habitats. The accommodation was good and featured many local dishes and wines. The tour leader was an expert on both the area and its natural history.

The trips are specially designed to combine good areas for seeing nature along with expert guides and proven good accommodation close to the areas of particular interest. Local guides add Itineraries are adapted to changes to ensure the best nature sites are visited and changes in weather conditions and the like.

A one day trip to see wildlife at Lakenheath Fen and Weeting Heath. We had a brilliant guide, Neil Glenn and had some fabulous sightings of Barn Owl, Cuckoos, Marsh Harriers, at least 18 Hobby's and 2 adult Stone Curlews with chicks. Although the day focussed on birds there were numerous dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies to see and admire.

Naturetrek has to be the best nature based travel company. The guides are always first class and everything is made clear and communicated to you in detail.

Visit to Holham Park and Nature Reserve with expert naturalist. Naturalist (Mike Crewe) was particularly knowledgeable and an expert leader. Covered all types of flora and fauna which Mike was not only able to identify with ease but also put into context in the bigger picture.

Post pandemic getaway to Chile, once through customs the holiday delivered everything the tour operator promised. Close encounters with the fantastic Chilean wildlife with the stunning Chilean scenery as the constant background.

We have now been on several holidays with Naturetrek and have not been disappointed once. They take great care that all their clients are looked after and share all the great wildlife experiences they promise to deliver.

Excellent organisation and leader

A superbly organised holiday to two very different regions of Spain. We got to experience local cuisine in local restaurants together with friendly service. Accommodation was of a good standard with comfortable beds. The daily trips were well put together and the lunchtime picnics were very good, with excellent Spanish cheeses.

My first time with Naturetrek and I would definitely use them again, in fact I’ve already chosen a destination.

Naturetrek always come up trumps with their day birding trips in the UK, we have done 3 now, all fantastic
