A two night stay in the New Forest with our guide. Saw and heard lots of new birds eg nightjar and curlew. Thoroughly enjoyed immersion in the experience with experts and enthusiasts alike.

Nature Trek

I enjoyed a fairly local day trip out with a very good nature guide, who was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in every way.

Naturetrek are a good reliable company which I have now used a number of times to organise my birding and wild flower tours.

Two centre birdwatching 13 day holiday to Panama, staying at the Canopy Lodge and Canopy Lodge. Local Canopy Family guides used throughout. They made the holiday with the range of skills and knowledge. Accommodation excellent.

Naturetrek. Contact made with an operations manager before booking to ask questions. Detailed itinerary and information provided pre-departure, which was of a good standard and proved helpful. Regional flight booked without issues. A query about info on invoice quickly resolved. Very professional operation.

Everything worked smoothly

The Vercors is a stunning region of France, and we explored mountains, forests and meadows for orchids and other flowers, butterflies and birds.

I have now travelled on eight tours with Naturetrek. Their itineraries are excellent, and their admin is second to none.

A 2 week tour of the Lower Rio Grande Valley looking for a wide variety of wildlife both fauna and flora. Many areas were visited in the peak time for bird migration. Visits to huge ranches, State Parks, the World Birding Centre and National Butterfly Centre were definite highlights. Both guides were fantastic with incredible knowledge about everything we saw.

Naturetrek. We have travelled with them for over 20 years and have enjoyed outstanding holidays everywhere we have visited. Guides are exceptionally knowledgeable and take great care of all travellers. The service received from everyone who works for Naturetrek cannot be faulted and they operate with a professional, friendly and helpful ethos at all times.

Very enjoyable trip to Hokkaido, Japan. Fantastic Wildlife in the form of Eagles and Owls. Excellent traditional food and accommodation throughout the stay. The holiday provided an excellent balance between photography and sight seeing. The group size was fine and not too large. Great experience using the local trains including the Bullet Train. Some early mornings but not many. A good flavour of Japanese life.

The trip was well organised and everyone knew where they were supposed to be and at what time. Flight tickets were issued in advance as was advice regarding filling in the right forms online for Japanese entry requirements. Check in at hotels was quick and rooms were usually excellent. One hotel was traditional Japanese (i.e. bed and furniture low to the floor) I enjoyed this but anyone with some mobility problems would have struggled.

A short break in the Forest of Dean. Excellent leader who went above and beyond to find us the birds we wanted to see.

We have travelled with Naturetrek several times over the years and will continue to do so.

Watching the red crowned cranes and sea eagles in Hokkaido, was a magical experience.
