NatureTrek offers the wonderful holiday titled Tiger Marathon and it truly is one. We had sightings of 9 different tigers and 6 leopards, 4 sloth bear and approximately 180 bird species over 2 weeks., not to mention various other mammals, insects and reptiles. This was a nature lovers dream come true.. We were led by expert naturalists as we traveled to 5 Tiger Reserves in central India. Our small group was compatible and we have made new friends for life. It was the perfect holiday.

NatureTrek offered an outstanding package for a small group, and then helped us customize a personal extension. They were patient, and infinitely helpful, easy to work with and extremely professional.. we had never taken a group tour before and were a bit anxious about it. NatureTrek came through with flying colors.. We look forward to traveling with them again

A group of eight friends joined the Naturetrek Etosha and the Skeleton Coast tour in mid-October. The arrangements were faultless throughout and the standard of accommodation exceptional. Our two guides, Neil McLeod and Jakes de Jagar were outstanding naturalists and they ensured that we all saw and photographed the wonderful birds, mammals and reptiles of Namibia. In over twenty years of experience of safari my wife and I consider this to have been one of the very best. We are already considering a return to follow an alternative itinerary very soon. For anyone keen to experience the natural history of Southern Africa, we can recommend this tour without any reservation. It was outstanding from start to finish.

Bought as a surprise treat for my daughter - had an amazing day... saw several pods of dolphins, porpoise, seals and many, many sea birds. Both tour operator and boat captain were very knowledgeable and willing to share information. Loved it and can't wait to go again !!

A great company to travel with for wildlife holidays

No one I know has visited Jordan ,or even knows very much about this country.Our holiday was filled with amazing history,from the Roman / Greek / Nabatean’s civilisations to the delicious Middle eastern coffee and halva to a wonderful Sighting of over 100 bird species.There are so many highlights ,the geography and terrain of the different deserts was intriguing,I would suggest anyone looking for a country with a difference,try Jordan.

Mohammed was the local guide,and he knew his stuff, a most knowledgeable person and very generous in sharing it The Naturetrek guide was Marcus ,and he was so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the country and it’s many bird species,amazing fellow

The holiday booked with Naturetrek was for A Wildlife Cruise on Brazil's Pantanal, to which we added an extension to each end (first to Rio de Janeiro then at the end to Iguazu Falls).

The central part of the tour was excellent with superb arrangements, guides, accommodation and experiences throughout our tour of the Pantanal. Naturetrek were rather let down by the operators of the two extensions: no driver to meet us on arrival in Rio, we had been told the wrong hotel in Rio, the wrong type of room awaiting us at Iguazu and a couple of other small miscommunications.

Wildlife viewing on Islay and Jura

Excellent 7 day trip exploring Islay and Jura with two first class guides. Despite weather warnings all around us we enjoyed favourable weather and saw a wide range of birds, I amassed over 100 species with Eagles, Divers and Geese the highlights. Comfortable accommodation and good food.

Naturetrek again arranged an excellent tour and dealt promptly and professionally with ferry problems on our departure. I have travelled three times on tour with Naturetrek. All have been very well organised, paperwork and information is excellent and the range of tours is outstanding.

It was a 2-week 4-site holiday to see a wide range of the wildlife of Kenya. It was a group of 12 traveling in two Toyota Land Cruisers which allowed everyone to have a comfortable seat with a window and excellent access for photography with the raised roof. The 2 local guides were very knowledgeable and worked hard to find the wildlife. We saw more species than expected with amazing opportunities to see lions, leopards and cheetahs 'in action'. Accommodation varied but was all of a good standard with a variety of food although it did feel like it was a tailored version of local dishes for Europeans.

Naturetrek is always professional and has a wide range of holidays to suit many tastes and abilities. We have been disappointed by other operators in the same field so now tend to just use Naturetrek and have taken about 15 holidays with them. Their holidays are not cheap but it is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for' and other operators can charge more for the same destinations. Useful to have choice of Lnad Only or with Flights Their website and brochure are very good for initial information and a great temptation to book the next holiday! Enjoy Zoom presentations over winter.

We stayed in some beautifully designed and well selected lodges and saw some incredible wildlife everywhere we got to, which made the long hours of the bus travel on bad roads well worth it
