Exhalent wildlife watching with knowledgeable and articulate guides and very good vehicles. a minor problem on arrival ( not the fault of NatureTrek} stopped me giving an excellent rating.

We have travelled a few times with Naturetrek, on this occasion their trip offered excellent value for money. Their guides were also excellent. They knew where to look for all the key species, utilising local guides for the difficult to find birds, such as Pharaoh Eagle Owl & particularly the Egyptian Nightjar, where the local goat herder locates the roosting bird and takes the tour to see it.

excellent, well-organised holiday with excellent guides.

We went to Equador and the Galapagos Islands and followed this with a 3 day stay in the Amazon. All aspects of the holiday were excellent, from the accommodation, the food, to the organisation. we had a wonderful three weeks and I would recommend this holiday as a holiday of a lifetime - well worth the money.

every day was a new experience with excellent guides to share their knowledge with us and make sure everything went smoothly.

we explored the local area by canoe and on foot, and went further afield by minibus with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. We were well looked after everywhere we went.

Naturetrek are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable . A real person always answers the phone promptly, with your personal details to hand, and nothing is too much trouble. ,We have now had many holidays with them, all of which have been great fun and exciting. All their guides, both based in the UK and abroad, have been very informative and willing to share their knowledge and expertise with the group.

Excellent guidance and identification of bird species, and chance to see the local landscape.

In the weekend holiday there was an opportunity to discover and identify bird species typical of the region, and enjoy the landscape. The hotel was a good base.

Naturetrek Ghana Highlights

Birdwatching in Ghana where the nature reserves are well separated so travelling a challenge. But the guides and driver did eveything safely and as compfortable as possible. Birding was a challenge in the forest environment but guide delivered well.

Abundant wildlife and birdlife sightings that were close by, including numerous lions resting in trees. A moving experience being amongst so many animals moving north. Excellent accommodation in lodges and tented camp with exceptional food on offer at all times. Guides extremely knowledgeable, who spoke excellent English and were well able to answer questions and explain animal behaviours. Happy group of like minded travellers that got on well. Also able to experience the history of the area and the Maasai that have lived there for thousands of years.
