Wonderful photographic experience with great accomodation.
A great opportunity to experience the Spanish Pyrenees in the company of like minded people together with a great photography tutor and naturalist. Based at Casa Sarasa in the village of Berdun we had great food and wine plus excellent rooms. Tutorials followed by field trips into the mountains were a terrific way to enhance our photographic skills. Good value for money and a trip well worth repeating again atin a different season.

Rating for tour operator:Naturetrek has the skill to combine great efficiency with a friendly personal service. We had a lot of preparatory information at our disposal so little was left to chance. Not a cheap trip, but you pay for what you get and we were not disappointed.
Bird migration

One day included a boat trip to see whales and dolphins and another saw us taken into Gibraltar and on up the rock. The picnics were excellent, the accommodation was really good, clean, comfortable, spacious.Add to that, excellent food and friendly staff and you have an excellent holiday.
Rating for tour operator:naturetrek are very thorough, beginning with the extensive pre-holiday information. The holiday details are always flexible to ensure that the aims of the holiday are achieved. The tour leaders are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You can always rely on naturetrek to organise a superb holiday.
Even in view of the very hot weather we managed to see birds, due mainly to our excellent leaders
Birding in Sicily. Normally the weather is 10 degrees C. lower than we experienced but due to the foresight of our leaders we managed to have a most enjoyable time. The accommodation was good and we could get out early mornings to walk around the vineyard prior to looking at the moth trap and breakfast.

Rating for tour operator:Having travelled with Naturetrek before we knew that we were in good hands. Pre flight instructions were clear and had no problems
An amazing Amazon rainforest experience
This was a 'tailor-made' tour and we spent all our time at the Amazon Research and Conservation Centre situated by the Rio Las Piedras in Peru. The journey there was an adventure in itself. We had our own guide and he and the staff at the centre went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. We explored the rainforest, had catamaran trips on the ox-bow lake and saw macaws and parrots at a clay lick.

Rating for tour operator:We have been on at least twenty holidays with Naturetrek. The staff are always friendly and the company is very efficient in the organisation of the tours, making sure everything proceeds without a hitch.
Amazing experience incredible wildlife seen
We thought this a very well organised trip. My special diet had been taken into consideration and I ate very well while on the tour. The guides were very enthusiastic and we learned an awful lot about the areas we were in and the wildlife sightings were never to be forgotten.

Rating for tour operator:We appreciated the information we were given before the trip, queries were answered very quickly. Very well organised. We thought the holiday was going to be good as we had seen the web site but it surpassed that.
All kinds of nature and a chance to reboot my ability to speak Spanish
It was sometimes hard to know where to look - one minute it would be eagles and vultures in the sky, the next it would be praying mantis, poisonous plants, fossils or wolf tracks on the ground. Always, assuming we weren't looking across at different beautiful birds, animals or scenery. The expertise of our guides was astonishing, as was their love of the land and sense of humour. We laughed a lot.

Excellent
Our holiday was well organised from the moment we met our tour guides, the guides were dedicated to providing the guests with a truly unforgettable experience, they were keen to pass on their knowledge, with a passion that was plain to see. Naturetrek's website/brochure was informative and easy to use, and the company's representatives were quick to answer any queries that we had

Botswana Desert & Delta - Naturetrek: My Best Ever Holiday!
I still don't know where to start and we've been back for 2 weeks! I'm constantly daydreaming! I still don't know where to start and we've been back for 2 weeks! I'm constantly daydreaming! We've been to Africa before, we've been on safaris before - actually, this was our 4th safari but our first with Naturetrek. Naturetrek made all the arrangements in a very professional way and the trip went extremely smoothly, from our departure, which, by the way, was from Rome, to our return back to Italy. The local safari company that Naturetrek uses for this Holiday, is Letaka Safaris and we would recommend them to anybody. From start to finish, this trip was truly spectacular. It is difficult to find the exact words to describe the way our group was: greeted at Maun airport, accompanied to our camp in Kwai, which included a game drive on route, taken care of daily by competent, friendly, happy and smiling people, served delicious and always different meals, taken on game drives twice a day by a guide that was so passionate about his country and the Wildlife, not to mention his knowledge of the same, efficiently transferred to another camp location and helped to feel as comfortable as possible. We can honestly say that all our game drives were amazing and our guide would always go out of his way to satisfy our often exaggerated requests in terms of wanting to see particularly big cats and wild dogs on a regular basis. We did manage to see quite a few leopards, including a cub of 5 months old waiting for its mother to come home from hunting, and, on 2 separate occasions, a leopard lying on a branch (as they do) up a tree. As for wild dogs, we immediately began sighting them on our very first game drive from Maun airport to our camp in Kwai. The 2 days following our first sighting, we saw a couple of small packs out hunting and then in Moremi we were very lucky to be able to calmly admire a pack of 18 wild dogs lying in the shade under some trees. There were countless other encounters with many other beautiful animals including, lions, cheetahs, lots of elephants, impala, greater kudu, red lechwe, hippo, tssessebe, wildebeast, giraffe, lots of different bucks, buffalo, and much much more..... not to mention the enormous list of birds including the fish eagle, goliath heron, purple heron, pelican, hawk eagle, kori bustard, and many more.....it's difficult to list all the different birds we saw. A truly Amazing Holiday where my husband and I also had the opportunity of meeting other lovely fellow travellers who have become friends and perhaps we will even have the opportunity to travel with them again in the not too distant future. We would not hesitate to travel again with Naturetrek! We were a little concerned about this being a camping holiday, as we had always stayed in lodges, however, this exceptional experience with Letaka was really comfortable and so well organised that now we would definitely camp again!
Rating for tour operator:It was our first experience with Naturetrek and I would and will recommend them to anybody! Very competent and professional. Received all the information we needed when we needed it and any queries that we made were Always answered immediately. Naturetrek work with Letaka in Botswana, as mentioned previously, and we were more than satisfied with everything, from the guide to the lovely team of people that did their utmost to make us feel comfortable and satisfied.
Hugely enjoyablr
A safari in Khwai and Moremi using mobile camps. Saw packs of African wild dogs almost every day - which was the target animal for the safari.Huge numbers of elephant and excellent sitings of leopard most days.

Fabulous, Outstanding and Awesome sightings of Jaguars, mating, hunting, swimming right infront of us.
I have lived in Zambia for 22 years so I have seen and experienced a lot of wildlife and birdings, but this trip into Pantanal was a magic dream come through for me.
