Botswana Okavango Delta camping safari. Group of seven with 3 camp staff and a guide who where excellent at looking after us. Food was very good considering it was all prepared over a fire ! Two drives per day, early morning and afternoon. Saw loads of animals, usually very close to the land cruiser, it was fantastic. Not too many vehicles in the reserve which was nice. Leopards, lions, African wild cat, impala, elephants, giraffe, sable antelope (a real treat!) too many to list and big families of wild dogs with pups.

Naturetrek. This is our third long haul holiday with Naturetrek. We have been to India and Zambia. Flight cancellations by BA on the day were extremely stressful but handled very well by Naturetrek staff. All flights and accommodation rearranged very quickly and efficiently. Haven't a bad word to say about them. No hesitation at all booking with them in the future.

A short break that exceeded expectations

The accommodation comprised three beautifully restored old rural cottages; warm and comfortable to return to after a tiring day in the mountains. Rising before dawn when it was very cold and travelling in 4wd vehicles into the Palencian mountains we had to sit in silence as the sun came up and scan the mountainsides looking for wildlife. Not only did we see wolves but also a family of wild bears which was a magical experience. Overhead we saw griffon vultures, buzzards, snake eagles and golden eagles. On our travels back to base we also saw wildcats sitting in the fields. The whole trip was extremely well organised with three experienced and knowledgable guides whose expertise and good humour added to the enjoyment.

This was my third holiday with NatureTrek and I have nothing but praise for the efficiency of their operation. Their brochure is extensive and their website provides not only detailed itinaries of trips on offer but tour reports from previous years' trips so you can decide whether what is on offer meets your requirements. As a single older traveller I appreciate that most trips are all inclusive and that meals are taken together. It all adds up to a very enjoyable holiday experience.

Wonderful wolf watching.

A short four night trip with 'Naturetrek' in northern Spain with the hope of seeing at least one wolf...........and we saw three on day one, cubs playing 'King of the castle' on day two and four brown bears on day three. And along with that we were shown tracking signs of wild cats, snakes, etc... and we got three close sightings of wild cats. The birds were amazing - golden eagles, booted eagles, short toed snake eagles and enough vultures to ...

Professional service from beginning to end. Our Spanish guides/trackers couldn't be faulted.

Filled with the lovely things we wanted to see

All the accommodation, food and service were excellent. The leader was amazingly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and diligent. There wasn't too much driving between sites.I don't see how the holiday itself could be improved. The only snag was the visa application process, which was long, harrowing, technically inefficient and in the end,a swindle-I was charged twice. For this reason,I wouldn't consider India again.

Provided all the info.they could to make the trip a success.Since there were only 3 clients and a lot of support,I was surprised that the tour actually went ahead-Naturetrek probably didn't make much on it. The flights etc. arranged were all very efficient

A very busy but enjoyable holiday visiting many different habitats including some culture. The wildlife was amazing from bears to butterflies and both guides were very knowledgeable about everything including history and geography so by the end of 9 days I felt I knew the country very well.

Plus close encounters with lions, buffalo and a good variety of bird life. The food in the camp was exceptional and the whole experience was well structured with enough down time in between game drives. Our guide, Gee, had grown up in the Okavango and knew everything there is to know the wildlife His team made sure everything ran smoothly; the food was excellent as was the customer service. Naturetrek also organised an extension to Victoria Falls for me which was a completely different experience to the safari element - the camp/lodge I stayed at was in a stunning setting overlooking the Zambezi and the manager and his team did everything they could to ensure I did all the activities I planned to do. One of the best holidays ever. I hope I can do another safari at some point.

Rating for tour operator:

Naturetrek organised post-safari trip to Vic Falls for me including transfers and accommodation. Everything was well organised with no problems. If I can afford it I will definitely book a trip with the company again.

Top quality well-organised wildlife watching with great food and good company

I went on a bear and whale watching tour in Canada with Naturetrek. The wildlife viewing was outstanding, good for photography and we were lucky with the weather too. The food and accommodation were all great and there were a great bunch of fellow travellers.

Rating for tour operator:

The Naturetrek tour was well organised and we were kept well-informed at all times. My tickets even arrived very early, before I'd even had time to worry if they were going to arrive in time, unlike with some other tour operators. They also supplied emergency contact numbers in case of any issues whilst en-route - they weren't needed but it was reassuring to have them.

A delightful and outstanding learning experience

Borneo's Orangutans was an exceptional holiday; my first experience of wildlife travel, which far exceeded my expectations. The tour was very well organised, with great locations, accommodation, food and, above all, expert and enthusiastic guidance from tour leaders.I cannot recommend this too highly.
