This was my first holiday with Naturetrek & I wasn't really sure what to expect although my husband had been on a trip with them to Nepal several years previously & had really enjoyed it. From initial contact to booking then the holiday itself it was all very well organised, really enjoyable & interesting. I'm not an expert botanist or "birdwatcher" but felt that I fitted in as well as anyone in the group & found - to my surprise that I knew things that some of the others didn't! A friendly group who were happy to share their advice, knowledge & opinions. I was a bit surprised at the age group (all older than us) but found that it really didn't matter. Tenerife & Fuerteventura were a revelation to me as I'd previously had visions of hugely developed holiday centres rather than lovely countryside & coasts. The leaders, Paul & Andrew made a great double act. Both of them were very helpful, informative & arranged great picnic lunches! Both of us look forward to travelling with Naturetrek again.

This was a trip in the MV Searcher from San Diego down the Mexican coast (Baja California) and eventually around the bottom into the Sea of Cortez. The main focus was on whales but the naturalists on board and indeed the whole crew of the Searcher were alert to the whole of nature: we went ashore for walks on uninhabited islands with interesting flora and fabulous birdlife, we swam and snorkelled in wonderful places and while travelling on Searcher we spotted whales (5 different varieties up close!). The Searcher was well managed by an experienced and very engaged crew, the two naturalists accompanying us were outstanding and our fellow passengers were enthusiastic and committed. The food was excellent!

Naturetrek organised the trip. They were very efficient from first contact to the end of the trip. I will certainly travel with them again - delightful people to deal with.

Birdwatching (mainly) trip based on an ecolodge in north Jamaica surrounded by gardens and extensive forest. Well appointed but meals were not hotel standard - nevertheless wholesome local cooking. We were out by 6 am, and by 4 am when driving to the mountains to arrive soon after dawn. The walking was a bit strenuous for me but everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, including of course the leader and local guide.

I have been with many ecotour companies over the years - first time with Naturetrek and they are among the best. I'm going with them again very soon. Their management, paperwork and leadership was excellent.

Weekend based in Aldeburgh Suffolk birdwatching. Cliff are tour leader was lovely and took as to the reserves and also areas that weren't open to the public.

Naturetrek specialise in wildlife holidays. I have used them on many occasions and have found them to be excellent value.

Over nearly three weeks the group explored the island of Sri Lanka. We learnt so much about the culture and visited many different sites. The wildlife was very exciting-the birdlife exceptional. It was a demanding itinerary but well worth the early morning starts to gain the most from each day on this very beautiful island with wonderfully friendly people. Our guides were excellent-nothing was too much trouble for them and their knowledge extensive

It was very good to be able to discuss the holiday in person before making a decision to go. The paperwork provided was clear and thorough. One felt well prepared when setting out. They are a specialist company. It was my first time travelling with them but I would do so again and recommend them as a tour operator.

It was a wonderful weekend in the Forest of Dean. Guided by Tom and Greg we saw about 50 different types of birds, some of which are quite rare, and also wild boar and deer. It opened up a whole new world for me as a newcomer to birding. We saw a great grey shrike sat on a tree, swooping down and picking up food for its 'larder', and good sightings of goshawks and peregrine. Tom especially was a very considerate and attentive guide, who made sure that everyone had sightings through the scope. the enthusiasm of the guides was infectious and added to our enjoyment of the experience. The weekend was relaxed, informal, the guides were very knowledgeable, the people on the course were very nice and friendly, and the hotel was comfortable and welcoming.

Naturetrek were extremely helpful and good to deal with, I would certainly travel with them again.

The trip was fantastic. Been a life long to dream to go on an African safari and I wasn't disappointed with this holiday.

Very Easy to deal with and helpful when needed to. Always clear regarding the costs of the trip.

There were 8 birders on the trip hoping to find most of the endemic birds and only missed on four of the 27. It was well organised by Naturetrek and was expertly led by a local birder who 'knew his subject'. This is my fifth trip with Naturetrek who I can thoroughly recommend

They are one if the best for birding tours and are superbly organised. I strongly recommend them. They are excellent value for money.

We appreciated having a busy itinerary with bird watching excursions in the early morning and late afternoon. The relaxing and hot noon time periods w hen we were left to our own devices were welcome!

We were given the names and English counties of the other couples on the holiday. This helped me to feel settled into the holiday before departure.
