This one week holiday included stays in the Bialowieza primeval forest straddling the border between Poland and Beloruss, and the extensive Biebrza marshes. In addition to catching sight of European Bison at the forest edge we were able to observe Elk grazing on reeds, and to see a wide range of birds in this unspoilt landscape.

Safari in central India in three excellent nature reserves.The lodges were attractive and comfortable with attentive staff. The naturalists guides were very good company and introduced us to a wide variety of wildlife including over 150 different birds.The whole experience was quite outstanding and certainly for us the holiday of a lifetime.

A fantastic trip into the past. Mind blowing countryside unspoilt by modern farming. Real rural life among the mountains with bear, chamois and birds galore. Beautiful wild flowers at every turn with very knowledgable guides to help us identify our finds.Good food and generous hospitality from our hosts Incredible forests, limestone gorges and lake teeming with wildlife. Cultural visits to medieval towns and castles including the famous Bran Castle. What a wonderful week!

We saw 12 bears and a wolf in Transylvania, visited Vlad the Impaler's Castle Bran, then floated around the Danube Delta bird watching often surrounded by beautiful water lilies. We had excellent guides, competent boatmen, comfortable accommodation, good food and good company. It was a very happy group, all interested in wildlife but also enjoying a relaxing and at times exciting holiday. What more could you want?

The paperwork is clear with good information on what to take, likely clothing for the type of weather we will meet, and reports to say how previous visits went.

The holiday was great. We were so well looked after by such a caring and knowledgeable guide. It made my holiday effortless and stress free for me. Orkney had so much to offer and I think we saw the best of it in the time we had.

I used Naturetrek for the first time and was very impressed. The tour I went on was the 'Bavarian Alps'. The duration of my stay was one week and this was not long enough! The weather was great, as were the people, both on the tour and those who lived locally. I went on long walks everyday and it was just fantastic! The highlight was seeing a pair of Golden eagles.

Naturetrek is a very professional company and I will be using them again. The staff in the office were extremely helpful and friendly and the two tour leaders were even better! I would recommend Naturetrek to anybody who has a love of the natural world and I cannot wait to book my next trip.

Pure Magic! A great mixture of all sorts of wildlife with plenty of knowledgeable people, especially our Romanian guide. The accomodation was delightful; very friendly owners who produced excellent food both morning and night and in between at lunch time, our local agent Simona turned up wherever we were with a sumptious spread of homemade Romanian treats.

I was a very late booker,but the little contact I had with the operator was very efficient and all went perfectly to plan.

This was a wildlife holiday looking at wild flowers, butterflies, birds and bears. We were taken on walks by an excellent local guide. The highlight of the holiday was seeing the brown bears from a hide in the forest.

This tour to the Dordogne region of France was an excellent one combining the natural history of the region as well as its culture in particular its history and wonderful cuisine.

I have travelled with Naturetrek for many years now, my first tour with them being to the Galapagos in 2000. They offer a huge range of tours throughout the world and I have always been delighted with the tour leaders provided, the organization and the content of each one that I have been on.

We stayed in rural hotels in central France and each day went out looking for dragonflies, butterflies and birds. This meant that we visited nature reserves and other wild spots - our leader's knowledge meant that we visited sites well off the normal tourist trail. I saw more wildlife in a morning than I had expected to see in the whole week. As well as wildlife, brief stops outside chateau and other historical buildings enabled me to take some wonderful photos and also see even more dragonflies. At many of the lily ponds, I was thrilled to see frogs sitting on lilly pads, they looked as if they had just stepped off the page of a children's book. Each day, we had a picnic lunch - baguettes, cheese, pate, salad, wonderful fresh fruit and (of course) a glass of wine. Lunch gave the group of 10 a chance to share photos and discuss the morning's adventures - most of the time we seemed to be laughing. Evening meals in our hotels gave us a chance to relax and enjoy delicious French food, wine and excellent company. Overall, I recommend this holiday to anyone who enjoys wildlife, rural locations and French food.

Before I went on the holiday, they answered all of my questions and were very helpful. Their website is super and really provides accurate information about the holidays including reports from previous trips - this meant that you had an accurate sense of the holiday before you booked on it. I would certainly recommend them to family and friends.
