the holiday was a bird watching trip to Albania i went with a friend and were in a group of fourteen we like looking at birds but are not bird watchers. However we were accepted by the group and Andy bent over backwards to make sure we saw as many different species as we could. Andy's knowledge of anything to do with nature was truly amazing. It was a wonderful experience.

Naturetrek organised the trip very well as Albania is an emerging holiday destination, we travelled the length of the country and spent the last four days in the mountains the hotels were of a decent standard and the food was plentiful.

The friendly and knowledgeablel tour guide led our small group into the sunny and dreamy Chilterns where we found man, monkey, military, fly and green-winged orchids. Would I have noticed the wild service tree and the spindle tree without our guide? I certainly would have missed the adder's tongue ferns and the hare which joined us for a time. A delightful holiday.

sweden in spring naturetrek tour. a good age range of people with great stories to tell of they're experiences. daniel green the local swedish guide and greg mabbett ( english guide ). the cobi of daniel and greg worked perfectly . daniel knew all the sites and what to expect ( we saw what he suggested Every time ) and greg had incredible sharp eyes detecting bird movement giving us many new species we would have missed. I cant praise him enough and i believe it was his 1st tour !

naturetrek continually kept up communications pretrip. this was good for me because i had been in the country for 2 weeks before the tour group arrived. they gave me precise details of where and when to be at arlanda airport to meet daniel and then the arriving group. everything worked perfectly. when one of the group at the hotel suffered a bad painful eye infection we had a retired doctor on the trip and the guides arranged a taxi to take the "patient" to hospital.

We went on a general wildlife tour of the dordogne area of France. We had a great guide who knew so much about the area. We were treated to wonderful views of orchids ,butterflies and moths and birds along with visits to cultural sites.

They were very helpful when we booked the tour, and didn't mind us ringing them with our queries.The trip was well organised and our guide met us and looked after us from when we arrived at the airport.

This was a natural history trip to Eastern Poland in the spring (May 2019), with a principal focus on birds, and a subsidiary focus (my own area of interest) on insects. The group visited the Bialowieza area (including the strict reserve in the Bialowieza Forest), and various sites in the Biebrza Marshes north and east of Bialystok.

Arrangements were excellent and efficient (flights, ground transport in Poland, and accommodation). Leadership of the tour was first-rate, involving knowledgeable guides.

A fantastic trip with many stand-out moments - including listening to Nightjars, spotting a Hoopoe, and our first experience e of moth traps. Our fantastic guide made everything interesting and enthusiastically catered for all interests, as well as being very thoughtful in all arrangements made.

All pre departure contact was excellent - very helpful office staff.

The star of this cruise is the mighty river Brahmaputra ... the people living along, on and with the river, their culture, the wildlife ... and all the sensations we passed through.

Very nice, very competent and dedicated tour guide and assistants who like people, who like sharing ideas and experiences, who are very positive and show a fine sense of humour. And a great ship crew.

Spring birding in Northern Greece. Excellent local guides and a well planned itinerary which enabled us to see some special things.

Naturetrek had a clear website and the holiday information there and subsequently sent to us was timely and comprehensive. Without any fuss they also arranged later flights for us so that we could spend more time in country and offered recommendations on suitable hotels.

Excellent tour leaders enabling good opportunities to enjoy wild flowers, small birds and fantastic lunches.

They arranged an additional stay efficiently and pleasantly.
