Eight day trip to Poland to search for mammals and birds. It was a fantastic well run trip with guides who went above an beyond to try and find animals for us.

Naturetrek, as always, were very professional and extremely helpful. I have travelled with other companies but always go back to Naturetrek as they always go above and beyond.

The weather wasn’t great (strong winds and quite a bit if rain) but the tour leader rearranged our itinerary day by day to keep us out of the worst of it, while still finding us great opportunities for birdwatching. The hotel was very nice and the food was excellent. They had an additional vegan menu, which was so good, some of the others in our group chose to order from it. Good company, great food, beautiful landscapes and some fantastic birds.

Naturetrek specialise in wildlife holidays, offering hundreds of different destinations to see all kinds of wildlife. I’ve been with them on long holidays around the world, both organised tours and tailormade trips, as well as short breaks in the UK like this one, and all their holidays are well-organised with great itineraries at a reasonable price. Their staff, both in the office and on tour, are friendly and knowledgeable.

A 14 day accompanied trip to Satpura and Kanha Tiger reserves in central India, which included twice daily game drives with experienced guides and used high quality lodges.

We have taken twelve holidays with Naturetrek, all of which have been excellent. The company uses first class guides and accommodation and can be relied on to take good care of it's clients in the event of unforeseen problems, in our case the cancellation of flights by an airline with financial difficulties.

Tiger Marathon, in India, visiting five different National Parks. An escorted tour, with brilliant tour leader, and fantastic wildlife viewing. Mainly staying in wildlife lodges, which were very good. Small group tour, all food included. Main focus was tigers, but not excluding all other animals and birds along the way.

Naturetrek - I have been on several holidays with them, and have always found them excellent. The wildlife tours are well organised and comprehensive, usually with all food included.

It was a birding trip in the early spring. It was cold and crisp and for much of the time clear blue sky.

One week spent looking at wild flowers in the mountains of Andalucia while keeping our eyes open for birds, butterflies, mammals and reptiles. We passed through white mountain top villages stopping at reserves, embalses and on occasion roadside verges. In the evening we returned to the hotel for a debrief and then sampled Pablo's fabulous food. There was something for every interest and every level of prior knowledge thanks to two impossibly knowledgeable but humble hosts. While it was not primarily an instructional holiday you could not help learning lots about the flora and fauna of Andalucia - in my case starting from a low baseline.

All arrangements and pre-tour instructions were faultless. The chosen hotel was a delight.

We visited several areas of Japan to see the wildlife, especially the birds, but also Sika Deer and Snow Monkeys and a Serow. Many thousands of Cranes, Sea Eagles and Fishing Owls were among the highlights. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the birds and managed to spot the small ones very quickly and get the telescope on them so all of us could get a close-up view. The hotels were good but the Onsens (Japanese Spa Hotels) we stayed in were delightful.

The arrangements for the holiday were done by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The flights were good quality and we were met at the Japanese end by the tour guide and a local tour guide who was also very helpful.

An excellent holiday showcasing the major species on the island of Hokkaido, Japan with opportunity to see some are species. An added bonus was the beauty of Hokkaido in winter.

I can recommend Naturetrek. Very good liaison pre holiday. On tour everything was well organised and we stayed in some lovely traditional inns.

I had the holiday of a lifetime exploring mainland Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands in a Naturetrek small group tour. The trip was made extra special by the knowledge, care and attention of the guides who accompanied our small group, the high quality of the accommodation throughout the trip and the excellent service of crew on the Galapagos cruise boat. Ecuador is an amazing place to visit for the birdlife, people and food and I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to experience the Galapagos. I'm still sorting through my 2500+ photos!

Naturetrek were very knowledgeable about the country and the places I visited. They obviously take a lot of care in selecting the local providers in Ecuador as the guiding and level of service were incredible. The Galapagos part of the trip was an add on following conversations with their Ecuador specialist in the U.K. - They put together a bespoke package that dovetailed my Andes and Amazon tour with an ongoing Galapagos tour. This was achieved at a manageable cost to me because of their policy to not charge a single supplement for singles willing to share a cabin, I'm so grateful that those early conversations took me to the Galápagos Islands which were a magical after an already exceptional experience birding on the mainland.

An exciting trip rich with wildlife - penguins, petrels, prions (birds), and pinnipeds - and offering an exhilarating polar plunge. Enjoy amazing zodiac rides to beaches where you are literally tripping over penguins, seals and pups. Encounter seas of hundreds of thousands of penguins, lands blanketed in snow and ice, and maneuver around Icebergs, bergy bits, and floe ice at sea. On our ship, Ortelius, we enjoyed fantastic food and service. Overall the trip was tremendous fun. What could be better?

I travel with Naturetrek because the focus is on wildlife. This trip didn't let me down - I was very happy to see seven species of penguin and seven species of seals.
