We had three fantastic tours with Naturetrek ,in 2014 in Arctic we had several polar bear viewings and unforgettable scenery , food and drink were exceptional standard ,we were about sixty in group ,Naturetrek staffs were very professional, in 2015 took Naturetrek Pantanal trip in Brazil ,one of the best tour guide Brazilian of African blood ,in our 30 years experience and had many a Jaguar 🐆 sightings ,tapir, ant eater and colourful birds, about 12 in the group all were of same temperament . our 2017 tour for Puma in Torres Del Paine did not go that well, though had several Puma and Condor sightings ,the guide was very quite and other four in the group were not very friendly, the operator fir Naturetrek who has now left arranged flight by Latam thro Sao Paolo to Santiago then to punta Arrenas took almost 48 hours to reach without proper food and drink. Latam flights all late and staffs not helpful rather rude . direct flight by BA would have been helpful. But pumas Condor at backdrop of Torres Del Paine ( our third visit there) were all unforgettable,

We have just completed a 12 day tour of Kazakhstan with Nature Trek on which we were lucky enough to have had two very fabulous leaders - both Botanists with exceptional knowledge. Svetlana Baskakova who has lived next to Kazakhstan’s oldest nature reserve -Aksu-Zhabagly sorted a brilliant itinerary ensuring that we covered as many different ecosystems as possible. Both Svetlana and co-leader Sophie Leguil went to enormous lengths each night to ensure the many new species we found in the reserve were correctly identified. The weather was perfect and the plant range superb.

This was our first trip with Nature Trek Wildlife Holidays and we found them superb to deal with. We are from New Zealand and booked two back to back tours with them, the second being 7 days in the French and Italian Alps with Philip Thompson. This second tour was a perfect contrast to the first, equally well managed and fulfilled all our hopes. We are already scanning the 2020 tour calendar for another tour or three !

Lots to see and admire on an island where you can relax. away from the busy lifestyle of the mainland (and Brexit!!). But just a short flight away. The holiday was well organised to suit all tastes.

Very thorough and knowledgeable. All interests were catered for.

We hugely enjoyed 6 days travelling round the North East coast of England with lovely views and splendid birding opportunities for the keen birders. The trip included two boat trips, the second one allowing us to land on two islands of the Inner Farnes. This allowed us to get very 'up close and personal' with nesting shags and colourful puffins, as well as being dive-bombed by the Arctic terns! The majority of the group were birders but the botanists were also afforded opportunities to see a wide variety of interesting plants. The weather was wonderful and the two guides made the perfect double-act, guiding and advising as well as caring and entertaining.

We have used Naturetrek holidays in many European countries, although this was our first in our own country! Through the expert guides, we saw and did far more than we could have done just by travelling generally. We also enjoyed the built-in companionship of those on the same adventure. We rate Naturetrek and their guides as the best out there.

A 5 day bird watching holiday, at the beginning of May, in the Coto Donana, Southern Spain consisting of a small group of clients and a knowledgeable Naturetrek group leader.

The organisation of the flights, hotel and tour in general, by Naturetrek was excellent.

A wonderful tour of northern Corsica taking in the beautiful scenery, amazing flora and fauna, with very good company and excellent leaders.

Naturetrek is very well organised and is always willing to accommodate anyone's wishes. The guides are very knowledgeable and great company. They always use friendly accommodation that complement the tours of the local area.

The accommodation and food was excellent. Our local leader was able to take us to where we were able to see any unusual birds that were about, as well as many of the beautiful flowers and items of interest..

We have been with this tour operator many times and have always had memorable holidays. We enjoy the specialist nature and the leaders always fulfill our expectations.

Slovenia was a great country to visit and the location for the holiday ideal. The knowledge of the local Slovene leader was essential although the main leader also knew the area well. Good to have a wildlife holiday with only one base. No constant packing, unpacking and spending lots of time travelling. Good accommodation in a very nice village where we could explore at will in our spare time. Varied interest holiday which meant there was always something to see. Travel split between two minibuses and we constantly rotated round so we could chat the different particupants and the two leaders. Good basic food in plentiful quantity although rural Slovene cuisine not very exciting. NIce number of participants and we all learnt from each other as well as from the leaders. Well organised, good communication about the itinerary each day and plenty of time to realx after a hectic day out in the field.

Naturetrek run a wide range of guided nature tours all over the world. These tours are competitively priced and this was the fourth tour I had been on. All Excellent.

Five days in Sweden tracking wild mammals. Although not all mammals were seen or heard, the whole five days was spent experiencing their habit with lots of evidence of their proximity, particularly Beavers and Wild Boar. Wolf droppings also proved we were within their territory even if they did not want to answer our Tour Operator's (very realistic) calls. Moose day was wet but we were still lucky to come across a few including Mum and yearling. Three Bear sightings were a real boost at the end of the five days (worth the night without sleep). The Black Woodpecker feeding her young was also a bonus even for those not necessarily into bird-watching. Picnicking (even in the rain) was good fun as locations were picturesque and the speedy erection of tarpaulin to keep us all protected from the elements was an excellent additional amenity. I did not take many photographs so nothing to download. I preferred to observe with the naked eye rather than a camera Also, being in a small group made the experience more personal, facilitated interaction with like-minded people the same time as giving space for individual enjoyment and experience. All in all an excellent trip which I would recommend to anyone wanting an adventure whilst maintaining some creature comforts.

Personable, easy-going, informative and enthusiastic. He certainly knew his mammals and appeared to enjoy his work and passing on information to others. He made the five days memorable in a relaxed, educational and fun way. His choices of refreshment stops where we were made to feel very welcome were perfect as were his tracking and picnic locations, etc. I would certainly do another Tour with him in the future possibly extending to camping and living in the mammals' habitat (rather than B&B)

The holiday was Naturetreks fiesta holiday in Abruzzo. Bears Butterflies and flowers. The weather was cold and wet. apart from the first and last days, Which were the only days we saw butterflies. The flowers were late flowering but we just saw earlier flowering flowers. The orchids were still amazing. Very special. We did see abear and one couple had a pair of wolves pass in front of them. Jessicas organisation was amazing

First time we have travelled with Nature trek. We were interested in the large group. We have had a holiday with a small group, ruined by a very obnoxious couple. who were rude to guides and other clients. Of course this time, everyone was very pleasant. The trip was well organised and flexible which was needed with the inclement weather
