We stayed in four different places and saw most if not all the Cuba endemics (plus others - my personal trip list is about 140 species). A great guide with incredibly good eyes certainly helps! Plus his local knowledge and language skills.

This is the eighth or ninth Naturetrek tour that I have done and have never been let down. Hopefully that describes my confidence in them and their tours and the organisation behind it all. They are always willing to talk and help.

We spent 14 days at 4 different lodges and National Parks in Central India. Everything was perfectly planned, the lodges were amazing and the wildlife in the parks was fantastic

Naturetrek always make sure that their holidays are packed full! If you're not out looking at big animals, there is always time for some bird or butterfly watching. They use top grade accommodation and plan everything to ensure guests have a great holiday

It was our first trip to India and my husbands reservations were very quickly dispelled. Our time in New Delhi was excellent and well organised. Satpura Jungle Retreat and National Park was also excellent and a lovely place to stay, the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The hot water bottles in the bed at night and in the jeeps along with the blankets on early morning game drives were much appreciated. The game drives were well organised and always very enjoyable. Even though we didn't see a tiger we saw a large variety of other wildlife including a wolf. The whole holiday was very enjoyable and we would like to visit India again.

Well organised and expertly guided. We saw not only a good range of bird species, but also many other forms of wildlife and some spectacular landscapes, and we also enjoyed well explained and introduced local food.

The important thing about an operator is that everything should go so smoothly that you are scarcely aware of its existence. This was true of both Naturetrek in Britain and Lawson's in South Africa.

Naturetrek, I have used this specialist tour operator many times and have never been disappointed. Organisation is excellent and the tour guides are very knowledgeable and ensure everyone has the best possible experience often in challenging conditions.

We chose this holiday because of its mix of seeing a range of wildlife, as well as its archaeological interest. We were not disappointed. We got a sense of what a vast and varied country Mexico is. We experienced high plateaux, forested mountains, the Pacific coast, mangrove waterways and coastal and mountain villages.

Naturetrek were very accessible in terms of being able to chat on the phone about options and matching our interests. They were happy to advise on extending our stay in Mexico, advising on accommodation and booking an internal flight.

A weekend, staying in Wells, and exploring the prime birdwatching sites, with particular focus on the murmuration of starlings.

Naturtrek have a wide range of wildlife holidays available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and clearly very experienced, picking key details to make the holiday consistently enjoyable.

This trip is one of the best trips I have done, it met all my expectations and more. We saw over 250 bird species and very good views of most. We visited 2 main Mayan sites with very knowledgeable guides. Each site was impressive. The guide, who took us around the Lamanai site had grown up nearby as a boy and he was able to bring it to life with a series of anecdotes. Our main trip guide Peter was charming, caring with a good sense of humour. He also had excellent birding skills. But the best way to convey how much we enjoyed the trip is to describe some events that made the trip particularly special. The first was night spotting on the river from Lamanai Outpost, which produced special birds such as Potoo and Nightjar, whilst being able to see other bird behaviour at night, not often seen. The second was the setting up of a moth trap at Pooks Hill, which drew in many insects, not least some very interesting looking moths. The owner also gave us a history of the Mayan site beneath Pooks Hill, again something we hadn't expected. There are so many experiences I could list, but the last is the opportunity to snorkel along the Belize barrier reef, which provided views of sting ray and nurse shark as well as hundreds of small colourful fish and beautiful corals. Certainly a very enjoyable holiday!

Naturetrek provide some stunning wildlife tours and this one in Belize is no exception. They are helpful and always available to help and answer questions during booking, before departure and during the holiday. They chose an excellent ground agent and guide for this holiday. We experienced a mix up with bookings when staying overnight in Miami before flying to Belize the following day, but Naturetrek resolved the problem quickly and without fuss. I would definitely travel with them again.

A real eye opener to the flora, fauna and geology of the Canary Islands
