An amazing experience. The holiday was very well organised with 3 lovely boat trips, hard treking to see gorillas and chimps with lovely lodges to rest and recover in between. The vehicle was ideal for the terrain with an excellent driver/guide and all guests enjoyed a window seat. The guide really went out of his way to fine all the animals and birds and ensured we were all looked after well both in the lodges and throughout the holiday. I was very appreciative as I am an elderly single traveller.

I have been on a few Naturetrek holidays and find them ideal for my kind of holiday,lovely wildlife but not too intense.

This was a once in a lifetime experience and far exceeded my expectations

The local Botswana operator Letaka was perfect. The guide/driver and the camp staff were amazing. We booked through Naturetrek and apart from minor problems in pre-tour information (which are to be corrected) we were very satisfied and will, hopefully, book through the company again.

Nature holiday staying at 3 different lodges in The Pantanal. Had 8 close up jaguar sightings along with lots of other mammals and birds. Excellent guide.

The leader, Alejandro Solano, is unsurpassed as a wildlife guide. His tours run smoothly, and he has great skill at finding and identifying birds and other wildlife.

All our wildlife tours are with Naturetrek. They have great tours, experienced guides, and their customer service from the office is very good. Their tours are well priced and represent good value for money.

Two week natural history tour to Madagascar with NatureTrek, "Madagascar's Lemurs". It was sometimes hard work with long road journeys and pre-dawn starts, not to mention night walks. In the end though we saw most of the birds, mammals, plants, reptiles, frogs and butterflies we hoped for. Birds seen included good views of three owl species and both nightjars and all the endemic bird familiies; mammals seen personally included 18 lemur species. The weird vegetation of the spiny forest in the south-west left enduring memories, as did the ear-splitting howls of Indris close around us in rainforest. The most expensive holiday we have ever had exceeded our expectations!

NatureTrek have been efficient throughout. The tour leader and local leader were both experienced, professional, efficient, friendly and cheerful. They coped well with changes of schedules and transport delays, giving us more rather than less fieldwork time and minimal hassle.

Ok so it is my third visit to Elsamere and the Mara with Naturetrek - the same tour - it really is the experience of a lifetime- from the spiritual home of Joy Adamson - the road trip through the heart of Kenya to the plains of the Mara with an experienced guide who is a delight to be with - so knowledgable and articulate - then the visit to the colourful Masai village - and home with treasured memories of sharing the trip with a wonderful group of fellow travellers and an abundance of photographs to relive every minute - all thanks to NATURETREK

Wildlife watching holiday especially to see Jaguars, giant river otters and hyacinth macaw which we did!

This was a mix of wildlife, cultural sites and traditional Istrian food. The balance of wildlife in the mornings and afternoon cultural visits was perfect. The leaders were extremely knowledgeable and were able to point out all things of interest and answer all our questions.

Naturetrek have always been extremely well organised and take excellent care of their clients. Their tours have always been as described in their excellent catalogue.

This was my first Go Slow’ holiday with Naturetrek and I enjoyed the chance to visit Istria which was an area I knew little about. The expertise of the tour guides ensured that the group enjoyed a varied daily programme, seeing many parts of the beautiful Istrian peninsular.

I have travelled many times with Naturetrek enjoying both long and short haul holiday trips. Their strong point is the expertise of their tour guides and the small group format. You often stay in out of the way locations so do not feel too much of a ‘tourist’.
