The visit to Minsmere was excellent. It was a windy day and although rain was forecast it didn't arrive until late afternoon. We walked around the reserve and to parts of Minsmere I hadn't been to before, including the derelect Springwatch platform. It was a lovely day and we saw so many different birds, butterflies and dragonflies.

The day trip to Minsmere, led by Brian Small, was excellent. Although I have been to Minsmere many times I have never seen so many birds, butterflies and dragonflies. Led by an expert like Brian I saw and identified so many which I would not have seen had I been on my own! The Caspian and Yellow legged gull and the Stone Curlew were the high spots for me. How Brian picked out the gulls amongst all the others was amazing!

Excellent on all counts: a good selection of birds see, a very pleasant bike ride from Dawlish Warren almost to Topsham mostly along dedicated cycle tracks, with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Matt Collis.

Found them very easy to deal with when I wanted to know if there were vacancies on this day trip. Disappointing for them that so few (four of us) actually took part on the trip.

Very enjoyable, with an understanding and knowledgeable leader.

Naturetrek - first experience

A boat trip from Brixham to look for birds and cetaceans in Lyme Bay. Despite relatively rough seas for the first couple of hours - it calmed down later in the day - I was surprised at the amount of dolphins, porpoise and relatively rare seabirds we saw, all with excellent views and in many cases very close to the boat. The other members of a small party were very friendly and helpful, the guide and bpat skipper were excellent, in poor conditions, and although we did not see some of he rarer species, this is always the luck of the drawer, it was a superb day .

"Naturetrek", who I have now travelled with many times, is a high quality, professional, operation who i would highlyn recommend to anyone interested in a wildlife holiday/trip.

Lovely sightings of seals off Emsworth including display of porpoising. Pair of peregrines was the other highlight. Very pleasant boat cruise even without the wildlife! The other passengers were good company.

John Stokes admirably stepped in at very short notice to guide the trip around Chichester harbour. He is very interesting, has enormous experience and plenty of entertaining stories. Joined by Ben Chapple in the afternoon. Ben is good company, very knowledgeable and has sharp eyes and ears! Great guides.

I joined a group of seven for a one day birdwatching trip at Spurn Head. We saw many and varied species covering around six miles in total but we never felt rushed or pressured to move on. It was a fabulous day and would certainly look for more trips. We even had the sunshine.

Our guide was excellent his knowledge of the area and bird life was superb. He took the time to ensure everyone in the group had located each bird. Answering all questions patiently and providing valuable information when appropriate.

Neil was cheerful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. A good day was had by all.

The holiday was well organised with really helpful and knowledgeable leaders.

One of the best for providing wildlife holidays

Great trip. Two very good tour leaders. I saw over 15 species of butterfly - some for the first time and several species of bird I have never seen. I was able to take hundreds of photos.

Naturetrek is a superb wildlife tour company. I have done several trips with them and have more booked for the future. All details of the trip are given well in advance and the staff are always able to sort out any queries or issues including refunds and changing trip due to Covid virus problems. Highly recommended company.
