Having been postponed from last year the holiday was perfectly timed. From start to finish all the arrangements went well. The itinerary was varied and the lodges were all very different but excellent in their own way. What made it very special was the group of people I travelled with who were incredibly nice and easy to get on with and our guide Paco was the star of the show!

I have now travelled with Naturetrek twice in the last 5 months and both trips were very memorable. As a company, Naturetrek take a lot of trouble to liaise with their clients, making themselves very approachable and friendly if you need help with anything (ie the complex forms during the pandemic!). The wonderful online roadshows and webinars were an amazing idea and helped an enormous amount of people who love to travel and appreciate nature get through lockdown and also brought the staff closer to their clients.

A beautiful sunny day exploring the different habitats around Walberswick, starting immediately from the car park with a viewing of a glossy Ibis. The morning continued with lots of sightings. Having the scope gave us fantastic views of the different birds as Brian gave a wealth of information and facts. We were all ready for our lunch and wondering if the afternoon could be any better. We were not disappointed, fantastic close view of a Dartford warbler and a woodlark singing his heart out before landing on a nearby football goalpost. After a wonderful day we went back tired and happy.

Brian was an excellent guide , whose local knowledge was invaluable. Most impressively, he identified some rare garganey ducks which were quite a distance away. With out his expertise we would have missed so much,.

A 16 day holiday to central and northern Costa Rica visiting 7 different sites to get a flavour for the country, people and wildlife (predominantly birds). The tour was led by an expert local guide with a party of 10 clients from the UK. The tour involved two separate cruises and walks each day to different habitats.

An expert in wildlife travel who provide the complete service for their clients. They are always happy to help with any questions about the tour and if difficulties arise they help to resolve them promptly.

Very good adventure with an excellent guide and some amazing wildlife experiences. The hotels and lodges were, as stated by Naturetrek, comfortable and well located with friendly staff everywhere. Costa Rica was beautiful, clean and friendly and surpassed my expectations. The roads were excellent.

Naturetrek gave us a full itinerary beforehand and this was fulfilled, there were some alterations in the length of the tour, it was extended by 2 days due to flight changes, but this was fully dealt with by Naturetrek and actually we believed it enhanced the tour.

We travelled from San Diego down the west coast of Baja California into the Sea of Cortez, visiting islands and seeing spectacular wildlife. We spent 2 days in Laguna San Ignacio where we were able to pet grey whales which came up to the boat. We were also able to swim with whale sharks in Bahia la Paz. This allowed me to achieve 2 life ambitions in one trip. There were many other fabulous sightings including 7 blue whales, sealions, seals, and a huge variety of birds. Although the cabins were tiny this did not detract too much from the trip as the crew was fantastic and the food fabulous. Our Naturetrek guide Tom and Searcher guide Rob had the most amazing knowledge between them of all the wildlife we saw.

Naturetrek specialises in wildlife trips. The boat they use for this trip is one of only 2 allowed to bring passengers into Laguna San Ignacio.

Three generations of my family (grandmother, daughter, granddaughter) enjoyed this tour very much. The animal/bird sightings, due to the expertise of our tour leaders and some members of our group, were enjoyable. The 2 beautiful locations chosen for viewing/scanning, sightseeing and other points of interest were very good. We loved the picnics on several days too.

Our 2 tour leaders were extremely knowledgeable, helpful in many ways sorting problems out when unexpected situations arose concerning members of our group. They were also fun to be with. I have traveled with Naturetrek before. Their tours have always well organised and interesting.
