The delightful Dolomites

Serrated skylines on the horizon, carpets of wild flowers at ground level. Well marked paths, for the adventurous- as there are always a few surprises , if one ventures into the wilds, Great Hotel, with one Michelin star. Traditional cuisine, sourced locally.

A specialist company which provides an excellent range of wildlife holiday in destinations in the UK and all over the world. Since the pandemic the number of UK holidays has increased to cater for a variety of interests. Their online presentations during lockdown were excellent.

Fantastic to be out in nature so much!

We explored the lakes and woods of Sweden, saw several beavers and moose in the wild, and lots of different bird species.

Feeling the Heat in the Camargue

A week spent seeing the wildlife highlights of the Camargue, somewhat hampered by the unseasonal heat. Temperatures reached the upper 30's and were described as being more like August.

Great group in a lovely location

Corsica is a stunningly beautiful island. We stayed in 2 delightful, basic, family run hotels in great locations. Food was plentiful and above average. I would have preferred more walking and less mini-van time and a greater emphasis on birds than plant life. I think it is difficult to encourage botanists to watch birds. A little too late in the season for the best bird activity

Great at coping with all the COVID postponements. Provided 2 very knowledgeable friendly leaders though both were botanists. Appreciated flying from Stanstead on Air Corsica.
