A wildlife tour of one week, based in modernised accommodation in a small village with day excursions by 4x4 with two excellent guides. All meals included (picnics during day excursions), beautiful scenery, good weather, and plenty of butterflies and other flora and fauna.

Naturetrek have been organising guided nature tours worldwide for many years and we are so taken with their quality that we have travelled with them to many destinations.

It was wildlife holiday in a part of Scotland I have wanted to visit for some time and I enjoyed the trip to Staffa for Fingal's Cave and the other islands in the group it was especially nice to see otters and pine martins due to the time some birds had stopped singing but I knew this before I went.

The Tour operator is a specialist in wildlife travel and I have enjoyed trips with them before.

The one-week holiday in Somiedo National Park was extremely well organised by Naturetrek, who paid great attention to detail and were extremely helpful. We were based at a nice hotel with varied, local food which was always freshly prepared and very tasty. Our guide was superb, tireless, extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful and enabled us to spot and identify a very wide range of flora and fauna.The daily programme was varied, enabling us to explore different part of the Park and to spot different birds, butterflies and flowers. I came back from the trip feeling very satisfied and inspired, having had a fabulous week.

We had a truly wonderful time exploring Romania. It was our first trip there and exceeded out expectations in every way. The guiding was top-notch and Marcus and Christian shared their knowledge and experience lightly and freely, adding to our great pleasure.

Very good, everything went well. The travel, hotels and food were all very comfortable.

Wildlife watching trip to the Isle of Mull with 2 boat trips included. Guide was excellent, hotel was a little tired looking but the staff, service and food was excellent. The organised boat trips were amazing. Good sized group of 7 people.

Naturetrek were very helpful when our flights were cancelled at the last minute and we had to rearrange pick up arrangements etc.

An alpine flowers and scenic trip Super hotel on the Gol plateau. Also a trip to Flam on the famous train. Superb meals, great scenery.

An 8 day holiday in the Alps based at two centres, one in France, one in Italy. Visiting the Alps is something that I have always wanted to do and this trip was everything I hoped it would be; I would have been happy with the trip even if it had only lasted for the first day.

The tour operator was Naturetrek. I am not a very confident traveller and haven't been abroad for well over a decade, hence I chose to go on a guided holiday. The guides did an excellent job of making all the arrangements and organising the visits, as well as providing their expertise in identifying the local wildlife.

This was a Naturetrek group tour to discover the alpine plants and wildlife of the French and Italian Alps. The scenery and nature we experienced were spectacular. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. The accommodation was very good and we were well fed!
