I used Mickledore tour operator and nothing was to much trouble,they gave me detailed maps and written directions so I could not go wrong.

Impressively mountaneous scenery; varied landscape. Positive attitude and atmosphere amongs walkers and B&B hosts. Nice B&Bs and warm welcomes.

I like the challenge of walking and discovering beautiful new places, but not so much the challenge of organizing it all -> Mickledore takes care of that in a clear, pleasant and high-quality approach.

I have always wanted to do a long distance walk, but did not want the hassle of multiple accommodation booking (let alone camping and carrying loads of kit). Mickledore Travel took all the stress out of the adventure. All I had to do was enjoy walking, through some of the country's most stunning scenery, secure in the knowledge that bags would follow, and I would be staying in some lovely place at the end of my day

Mickledore were efficient, and always helpful. When I had to contact them, staff were friendly, polite and keen to be of assistance. Resources provided for the walk, including individualised itinerary, were detailed and comprehensive. I would be happy to recommend them

Mickledore - very well organised and very professional

I walked the Peddars Way National Trail with the help of Mickledore Walking Holidays, my first experience of booking with them. From my first contact with Mickledore to completion of my holiday I have not been disappointed. Their booking system was efficient and easy and the staff very helpful and informative. The B&B's/inns I was booked into were of a high standard and all the hosts helpful and eager to ensure that I had a good hoilday. All the breakfasts and packed lunches were excellent. The luggage transfers were good and the man delivering/collecting the luggage polite and also helpful. I am really looking forward to booking another walking holiday with Mickledore.

Mickledore Walking Holidays have a very efficient and effective team who put a lovely holiday together for me. They were able to answer my questions about the holiday, add the additional things I asked for and provided everything I needed to complete the route. All the additional infomation given was very useful in helping me to plan my evening meals, know where I could access an ATM etc. I was very impressed with their service.

My wife and I walked the Cumbria Way from Ulverston to Carlisle last week. It was a 90 mile long distance walk over 8 days in glorious countryside and it was hard but very rewarding.

Mickledore were great from start to finish from their website to their organisation of our trip, from the places they booked us for overnight stays to the taxi pickups and finally the feedback email. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Part 1 of the Coast to Coast path, from the west coast to the east coast of England. Whereas Part 2 will follow next year, Part 1 is worth walking in its own right, and I am very pleased I have selected the same tour operator for Part 2. great walking, good accommodation, plentiful recommendations for evening meals and contact numbers for emergency support if so required.

Very courteous over the telephone when making stage payments towards paying off the holiday. Excellent details of holiday sent to me shortly after the holiday was paid off, enabling me to prepare for the holiday and add to its enjoyment. Part 2 of the walk is already booked with the same operator and I will certainly recommend and book further holidays with this operator in the coming years.
