We walked the centre section of Hadrians Wall with Mickledore. Their organisation of the accommodation, luggage transfer and taxis was superb, everything dovetailed beautifully. They provided a wealth of information about restaurants, taxi firms, health support and other services along the way as well as excellent route finding material. We never took a wrong step along the way.

We walked from Winchester to Eastbourne over 7 days. Mickledore arranged all the overnight stays and luggage transfers. Everything ran to schedule and the accommodation was perfect. Communication and paperwork was exemplary.

This year we walked the Dales Way which started in Ilkley and ended in Bowness on Windermere. We walked an average of 12 miles a day although some days were longer as we ventured into some lovely villages or sites of special interest. We chose May as the ideal time to visit this part of the country because the woods were full of bluebells and wold garlic and the fields were bursting with young lambs and calves. The accommodation was very varied and ranged from hotels to inns and B &B's and their locations ideal for the walk. Always great to have a hot shower and meal after a days walk!

We have used Mickledore for our long walking holidays since 2015 and they are absolutely first class! Their website is very easy to navigate and offers a wide range of walks and support to suit everyone's needs and interests. One booked they send you an information pack full of information to guide you through the walk, where to eat and all the local amenities and attractions. They organise the accommodation which is always first class and can arrange your luggage to be transported to the next accommodation so you only have to carry your essentials. The cost are very reasonable for the level of service received and we are already planning next year's walk!

Perfect organisation

Dales Way. The whole trip was well planned and went off without a hitch. The scenery was at its best. Practically continuous bluebell and lambs from start to finish. Coming across wooded glades carpeted in blue was amazing.

The 5 days walking were challenging but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Everything went like clockwork: overnight stays were booked for us and were all very good; packed lunches were provided; luggage was collected and delivered efficiently; taxi connection was good; maps and guide book and other information was provided and very useful.

Mickledore walking holidays were recommended to us several years ago. We have been delighted with the organisation they put in.

This is our third trip with Mickledore, who are meticulous in organising these types of holiday and provide lots of useful information. Very helpful with planning too.

We walked from St Ives to Falmouth along the coastal path. The scenery was fabulous. Our luggage was transported for us very efficiently and every evening we arrived at good quality accommodation for the night. A variety of places to eat all along the way were listed so we could choose what suited us. We knew that if there were any problems Mickledore would be on hand to resolve them so we could just walk and enjoy.

They offer a very personal service. Communication with them is easy and they are always very helpful, going out of their way to make sure our holiday arrangements are as we want them and resolving any issues as quickly as possible.
