McKinlay Kidd customized one of their rail trips for my husband and I through the highlands of Scotland. They organized everything including a personal tour guide so we could visit my clan's castle. The lodgings and included tours were excellent, and McKinlay Kidd was very attentive.

When my train was canceled, they arranged a private hire to get me to my next destination.

We are from Peru and we made the Car Free Scottish Isla d Hopping Holidays with McKinlay Kid. There were alme issues because of the Ashley Storm and McKinlay Kid re coordinate everything for us to continue to enjoy our lovely holoday.

There make all re arrangements inmediately because there were ferry disruptions because of the Ashley Storm. mcKinlay contactes us inmediately and re schedule everything. The hotels wonderful, connectiona and trips very precise. We had everything at hand tonhave a hazzaed free trip.

McKinlay Kidd’s Small Group Tour of Orkney and Shetland was well-paced, informative and most enjoyable. The accommodation choices were consistently very comfortable, with friendly, efficient staff and provided quality menu options. Similarly the local transport and specialised guides organised by MKK were very good and provided high calibre service. MKK Tour Leader, Ciaran Stormonth was most knowledgeable, organised, inclusive and personable. He exemplified the level of care and consideration MKK has for every one of its travellers.

McKinlay Kidd are experts at researching, sampling and organising outstanding individual and small group tours to the most picturesque and interesting corners of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Their attention to detail and support provided to each of their clients before and during their travels is exemplary and demonstrated by every member of their staff.

We spent ten days on Shetland all organised by McKinlay Kidd. The travel arrangements went well and the accommodation was good. We particularly enjoyed the organised tour of Shetland and the boat trip around Noss.

McKinlay Kidd took the hard work out of planning our trip, whilst still allowing us to customise it to our own requirements - an excellent combination!

We booked a trip to Mull & Skye with McKinlay Kidd. The trip included ferries, accommodation and some trips. There was a slight delay in getting our final information but it arrived before we departed. The accommodation was comfortable and met our needs. The ferries all worked and we enjoyed thee two trips. Our third was cancelled because of weather. We would have liked more choice about where the accommodation was and more up to date recommendations of what to do, where to eat etc.

McKinlay Kidd organise holidays in islands although I understand they have now begun to organise holidays on mainland UK. We always deal with them by phone and email which generally works well. They charge a standard daily rate for each person which means you are clear about the cost.

We had a wonderful time in the Outer Herbrides, Orkney and Shetalnd. The trip was well organised the accommadation was extremly comfortable. Havimg someone organise the accommoadtion, cars ,ferries,train and special request trips made our trip so much more enjoyable and our big decisom each day was hwere to eat and MKK had great recommadations for us to select from!

Even though we are in Australia they were easy to deal with and propmt in thier communication with us

Toured Jersey, Guernsey, and Sark. Then did our own side trip to Isle of Wight before heading to London.

Our guide knew everything and told interesting stories about the islands. She was all about the comfort and interests of those on the tour.

"Slowly through the Outer Hebrides" is what I wanted and that is exactly what I was able to enjoy. It could hardly have been better - well, except for the weather which, I understand, was unusually unkind, even for that part of the world.

Almost all of my accommodations were excellent, one was just "good", one left me partly unhappy. All the other parts of the organising were expertly done as well. In particular, the times allowed in all the different locations were more or less perfect, with just a few, perhaps very individual, wishes left open, like, a day more in certain places.

We travelled down the Atlantic coast, staying at comfortable hotels. Despite awful weather we had an excellent time
