Very well organised and good communication from the tour company. The trips were a lot of fun and very informative and we saw lots of wildlife including eagles, whales, seals and dolphins. The accommodation was very good. We were very well looked after by the B&B hosts and very well fed. The car hire company was efficient and we did not have the usual long wait when picking up a hire car. They also collected and delivered us back to the train station.

The holiday was to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday and the companies knowledge and expertise produced a wonderful and very memorable trip.

I can’t actually remember the brief I gave to McKinlay Kiidd, but the results way exceeded my expectations!

My wife and I had a great holiday travelling north through the Outer Hebrides during May 2021. There was plenty to see and do and we were particularly enthralled visiting the sites that showed that there had been well developed and widely connected cultures in the area from prehistoric through to modern times. The weather, not unexpectedly, was mixed with some warm sunny days but other wet, cool and windy ones where although the scenery on the beaches suggested the Caribbean we were dressed for skiing. Food was excellent with some particularly noteworthy seafood to be had.

McKinlay Kidd did an excellent job finding great accommodation, making all ferry bookings and keeping us informed when booked ferry sailings were changed by Calmac.

This was an amazing 3 week road trip comparable with many we have done in the USA

McKinlay Kidd were excellent with their selection of mostly small B&B's & Guest Houses and we had the distinct impression that many of the accommodations made just a little extra effort because we were McK K guests .

We had a wonderful time traveling slowly from island to island. We stayed in lovely B&Bs chosen by McKinlay Kidd.

McKinlay Kidd were brilliant from booking to departure. Documentation and information was spot on. They are very professional and have never fail to please my wife and I. We have used McKinlay Kidd twice and have never been disappointed. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

McKinlay Kidd's advice on setting up the tour, and subsequent back-up documentation and support were superb. Our only regret was that we were not able to spend more time on the islands.

A touring holiday with our landrover. An amazing experience arranged for a 50th birthday present originally for 2020 but postponed until 2021. Although disapointed that we were unable to travel as planned last year it was welcomed following a full year working on an NHS Covid ward and having no respite until the trip. The trip delivered everything it promised and more. The time of year that we chose was perfect and it was great to travel on empty roads with only sheep to negotiate.
