The pilgrimage was great. MaCabe saw to it that we were well catered for. A member of staff greeting us at 3.30am in the morning, welcomed us on arrival, saw to it that we were not only provided for; we were also made safe and welcome every where we went. The coach driver was very good and experienced. The guide Mara to me was above excellent. Knowledgeable, professional, polite and patience. They made a difficult journey look and feel easy even for the elderly. Rosemarie our co ordinator and go between was also very helpful. Thank you MaCabe.

We walked some of the Compostela, travelled the rest by coach, thus allowing visits to remarkable churches and cathedrals.

Organised pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Having the same driver and guide for the full 10 days was great as we all got to know each other which enabled a personal but professional approach. We felt safe at all times.

I would like to congratulate McCabe Pilgrimages on their efficiency and thoroughness in arranging our Order of St Lazarus pilgrimage to the Holy Land. McCabe Pilgrimages thought of everything to make this special time so enjoyable. It was a complete package with everything thought out and included which ensured that we made the most of our time in the Holy Land. Our stay was well planned with excellent Hotels throughout. The Golden Walls Hotel in Jerusalem was ideally located to visit the Old City. It was most comfortable with delicious food served. Similarly the Ron Beach Hotel in Tiberius was in a lovely location beside the Sea of Galilee. We were blessed with a superb tour guide Sa'id Mreibe whose in depth knowledge of the holy places we visited and scripture was second to none. He gave us a real insight into the Holy Land both past and present. Excellent value for money and a spiritually enriching time for all in this special place.

McCabe did an excellent job from beginning to end - from meeting us at Heathrow and guiding us through check in and security, right to briefing us at Tel Aviv airport and accompanying us as far as possible. Brilliant company and guide throughout. Good food and lovely hotels. Enjoyed visiting the sites with the knowledge of a good guide.

McCabe Pilgrimages were brilliant and everything was handled from leaving airport and arriving in Jerusalem and coach taking us to our hotel. Meeting guide who was able to give us any details necessary going out the next day to the sites also coach driver was very prompt daily

A number of our party had travelled with McCabe Pilgrimages on several occasions, which is a testament to the quality and excellent organisation of the 'holiday'.

We were guided by a very gifted local guide through 7 full days of pilgrimage. Although the programme was full, we were kept on time without feeling hurried. The information given was very sensitively judged so that we were given appropriate, interesting insights without feeling overwhelmed, and also had good levels of time for our own thinking. The hotels and restaurants were well-chosen and the food was delicious!

McCabe entirely removed hassle from our pilgrimage to the Holy Land - no small feat with a party of 37, complicated itinerary, politically tense borders, religiously complicated sites, etc. We were able to focus on the visit with an extremely gifted local guide. Food was excellent, hotels were great - all well chosen.
