an excellent pilgrimage to the Holy Land, to sing, learn, share, pray and visit places in the Bible

McCabe an excellent tour operator, meticulous in every detail

It was entitled 'A pilgrimage of song'; we visited Holy Christian sites and visited Palestinian Christians to learn more about their lves. Everywhere we visited (as appropriate) or held a service, we sang. We had some great leaders, who made it all happen without a hitch.

McCabe Pilgrimages arranged travel and hotels. Everything was excellent.

The week was pretty hectic, but it combined all things I love best. The singing was a bonus and the company both stimulating and caring. We visited many places I hear about regularly at church. We were really lucky with the weather and though it was sad for the local economy, much of the time we were the only touring group around, so were able to view all the treasures of the area and sing in peace. Our guide, Sami, was a font of knowledge and 'Mansouer an excellent driver of our Nazarene Express. Geoff, our tour leader was an inspiration as well as being diligent at counting us back on the coach. Canon John Henson had done a super job with the liturgy. The group bonded and sang well as a choir as the week wore on. The terrific amount of information given out has left me with much food for thought. An emotional experience.

McCabe Travel, though I hadn't heard of them before, give an excellent service. A friend had used them previously and they are consistent in this. Any question or problem was resolved promptly and without fuss. Level of information was really useful.

We spent 5 nights in Jerusalem (Golden Walls Hotel), 2 nights in Nazareth (Little Sisters of Nazareth) and finally 2 nights in Galilee(Ron Beach Hotel). We had a wonderful tour guide and programme and each day visited sites associated with the ministry and life of Jesus. We also visited local projects supported by McCabe - a school, hospital and peace centre.

McCabe - looked after us excellently from start to finish. This included sending a representative to a pre pilgrimage meeting prior to the trip, have a representative at the airport to help guide us through security etc.. and providing a wonderful tour guide and driver who accompanied us throughout the trip. The tour guide and driver provided were top classes. The tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and great fun.

An 11 day pilgrimage to the Holy Land, with 7 nights in Jerusalem and 3 nights in Galilee, visiting all the major Gospel sites, including Bethlehem. Staying in 4* accommodation close to the Old City of Jerusalem, and on the Sea of Galilee, the proximity of hotels allowed for an unhurried spiritual experience, with time to appreciate the significance of each place.

McCabe have many years of experience in operating pilgrimages to the Holy Land, which means everything is well-organised, accommodation is of a high standard,and each visit runs smoothly with the help of excellent local guides.

1st guide poor due to illness second guide brilliant items removed at airport on the way out and two legal items Old Spice taken from suitcase on the way back one item damaged small plaque on serach aso not given VAT refund as I had been advised that items need to be in main luggage, although there were two sets of individuals given refunds without showing their items McCabe excellent hotels excellent staffa nad experience excellent just disappointed by airport staff

The Holy Land at Advent was an inspiring pilgrimage and the organisation by our Leader, McCabes and Albina Tours removed any worries about our time there.

McCabe's expertise and their combination with Albina Tours in Israel meant that we had no worries about schedule or travel and were able to concentrate on the places we visited. A truly memorable holiday.

We spent 10 days in the Holyland visiting and experiencing the places that were part of the life of Jesus Christ. It all brought it so much to life to me. I wouldn't have missed it for the world

Everything was taken care of without any problem. There was no detail that hadn't been foreseen. I would definitely book with them again.

A completely surreal experience to walk in Christ's footsteps. This trip has brought the Bible alive to me. A trip I will remember for the rest of my life. When I listen to the readings in services now I am transported back to all I saw and makes the readings much more meaningful for me.
