The Holy Land at Advent was an inspiring pilgrimage and the organisation by our Leader, McCabes and Albina Tours removed any worries about our time there.

McCabe's expertise and their combination with Albina Tours in Israel meant that we had no worries about schedule or travel and were able to concentrate on the places we visited. A truly memorable holiday.

We spent 10 days in the Holyland visiting and experiencing the places that were part of the life of Jesus Christ. It all brought it so much to life to me. I wouldn't have missed it for the world

A completely surreal experience to walk in Christ's footsteps. This trip has brought the Bible alive to me. A trip I will remember for the rest of my life. When I listen to the readings in services now I am transported back to all I saw and makes the readings much more meaningful for me.

In ten days we saw so much of the land of the Bible and Christianity. We also learnt something of the current political and social situation as well as learning about some of the archaeology of the land.

On this tour 18 Pilgrimes from St John the Baptist Church, traveled to the Holy Land to visit places of the Bible Stories. Based for 6 night in Jerusalem then 3 nights in Tiberias. Our priest traveled with us so we were able to enjoy the Eucharist at some wonderful places, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, being just one. The hotels and restaurants were good. Our local guide was brilliant, Very knowledgable and careing. The trip was for me a very spiritually uplifting experience.

This was the first trip to Ethiopia run by McCabe and proved to me a memorable experience. It was very well organised and there were no problems with the timings. We saw not only the famous places but travelled through the countryside where we saw how the people live in the villages and how they work the land. The flowers and birds were a bonus as was the good weather.

I have travelled with McCabe many times before and have always been very satisfied with all the arrangements that they make with regard to the visits, hotels, travel, food etc. and this trip was especially well organised.

I organised a group of 34 women on pilgrimage to the Holy Land - many for the first time. All enjoyed the experience enormously.

Our holiday was a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land - I found it to be an incredible experience, often very moving. It was extremely well organised with an excellent leader and guide. We travelled by coach each day to visit some of the main sites of interest, both in Jerusalem and round our second venue in Galilee. Our guide, Salim, was very knowledgable and each person had the use of our own "Whisper" earphones which meant we could hear his commentary with no difficulty. Jerusalem was amazing and the area round the Sea of Galilee was so beautiful. All our meals were provided and were lovely - great variety! All in all, I found this superb holiday to be all I expected and more!

I found McCabes Pilgrimages to be very helpful and businesslike in all my dealings with them. They sent lots of useful information before the trip and were very friendly and informative when I made a phone query. The whole tour was well organised and I felt we were in good hands!
