The tour covered an enormous amount of interesting sites but unfortunately many of them were very busy due to the large amount of people on pilgrimage.

Fantastic holiday with very hot weather. The hotels used (golden walls in Jerusalem and Ron beach hotel in Tiberius) were excellent. The tour guide was exceptional with his knowledge of all sites and history. Also our coach driver was very very good. The whole pilgrimage went very smoothly.

McCabe travel were excellent in all aspects of the pilgrimage. We could not fault the organisation of any part of the pilgrimage.

It all lived up to expectation, a wonderful experience.

The main purpose was to visit a children's home in Kalimpong, in the Himalayan foothills, where my aunt had been a missionary children's nurse in the late 1950s - which was very moving. We also had other amazing and exciting visits and tours, such as the sights of Kolkata, a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway steam train, a view of dawn over Kanchenjunga (breathtaking!) and visits to Old and New Delhi and the Taj Mahal and Red Fort in Agra. In all, it was a wonderful introduction to India, especially as we met so many local people.

McCabe is one of the best tour operators I have ever travelled with, so I often choose them for my holidays, especially pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Near East - and now India. We are treated with uttermost care and attention and the guides are always incredibly informative and knowledgeable. A McCabe tour has proved to be the best way to see and learn about the most important sites and sights of the country we are visiting. Also, they have a great heart for supporting charitable institutions on and through their pilgrimages.

It seemed very daunting to go to Israel but McCabe made the whole experience safe, memorable for the right reasons and truly a trio of a lifetime, The local guide was just excellent, very knowledgable and engaging. The hotels were both very pleasant and relaxing places. Well done to McCabe

From initial booking to leaving the return flight we felt we were very much in good hands, with excellent advice and assistance all the way. The trips were carefully planned, and despite it being a very full on 11 days it was most enjoyable and informative,

Christian plgrimage to Israel and Palestine during Holy Week so a very special time to be there. Crammed in a massive amount if trips over the whole country. Exhausting but hugely enjoyable and inspirational.
