Fascinating - also because it was in the former East Germany

I have led tours with McCabe for 30 years and they ate the best!

Excellent pilgrimage to the Holy Land taking in obvious and less obvious sites, and led superbly by our guide

McCabe are experts in their field

Visits to all the usual Biblical sites in and around Jerusalem {Bethesda Pools / Mount of Olives / Garden of Gethsemane / Via Dolorosa / Garden Tomb ... all wonderful} plus visits to Bethlehem {the Shepherds' Fields ... plus the eye-opening dividing wall built by the Israelis to keep Palestinians out!} and then all the sites around Galilee {Cana / Bethany / Nazareth / Sea of Galilee} helped put visual and 'spiritual' flesh on so many places I've heard of / read about ever since I was a little lad ... plus visits to the Qumran 'Dead Sea Scrolls' Settlement and the Holocaust Museum which were very moving. Maybe a few too many churches (built over important religious sites) spoilt these places for my liking! Yet overall, a very special holiday!

Short 5-day holiday to Germany to see the places of importance in the life of Martin Luther, 500 years after his Wittenberg theses. Also good links with JS Bach who was influenced by Bach's music (visited 2 Bach museums in Leipzig and Eisenbach).

500 Years since Martin Luther started the Reformation in 1517 - not a pop title nor an easy subject - but it was presented in an attractive way: excellent choice of places to visit: over 5 days only: Wittenberg, Eisenach, Wartburg, Eisleben, Erfurt, Leipzig. High quality hotels and meals. Superb guide. Leader encouraged a friendly and understanding atmosphere among the party of 29. McCabe Pilgrimages had done thorough planning. Excellent overall experience.

My Holy Land Pilgrimage was hugely enjoyable and I learned so much about the country. All travel and meals were taken care of. Tony Boon looked after us every day on each excursion. Paul and Liz Hughes lead us in worship at the different sites, which made it a memorable experience.
