It was a good well run and organised holiday touring the Biblical sites, which really brings the Bible stories to life in the places where they took place. The local guide Shafiq had an excellent knowledge of the Bible and brought things into perspective for me. The driver Hamna was excellent at getting through the busy traffic in Jerusalem and negotiating narrow roads. The staff at the Scots Hotel in Jerusalem and the Scots Hotel in Tiberias made us feel at home and the food was excellent in both hotels. My compliments go to the chef at the hotel in Jerusalem, he presented his food in a poetic manner each night describing what was on offer, he puts his whole heart into feeding the guests. Both ministers of the Church of Scotland in Jerusalem and Tiberias made us very welcome. The only down side for me was the amount of food. I am not in the habit of having 2 3 course meals a day let alone once a week. I felt a packed lunch would have been more appropriate at lunch time. Sometimes I felt too full to move around at ease in the afternoon, just too much food. The 3 course meal at night time would have been more than sufficient.

The tour operator is one of the best in their field. This was my 3rd time on a Holy Land tour with McCabe and I would be loathe to change to another operator. McCabe's have an expertise in organising these trips and I will be looking out for more tours to the Holy Land by McCabe in the future.

stayed in 2 hotels. one in Jerusalem & one In Tiberias, by Sea of Galilee. visited all the holy sites ,dead sea & Masada. excellent guide & hotels & all other restaurants very good.

McCabe pilgrimages. I thought we certainly had good value for the cost of the holiday. everything so well organised.

Very interesting holiday. The Holy Land is a place I've always heard about, now I can visualise it as well.

It was a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, staying in Galilee and Jerusalem. A perfect holiday.

A Ten Day Pilgrimage to Israel visiting site of significance around Jerusalem and Galilee. It was a marvellous experience with activities ranging from the spiritual (visiting sites of importance to Christians and Jews) to the relaxing (floating on the Dead Sea). The trip was well lead with an experienced leader and a superb local guide.

McCabe Pilgrimages - organises prigrimages to countries around the world. A good organisation that provied well thought out and roganised tours.

It was a pilgrimage to Israel/Palestine with excellent leadership and all necessary arrangements made quietly and efficiently.

McCabe saw to all the arrangements well. There were no hiccoughs and the ho9tels were excellent.

Arrangements were excellent and itinerary most interesting. Guide and Driver excellent.
