Thoroughly enjoyable trip. I found the number of items in one day rather too many, but that could well be an age issue - having started out early each morning I would have liked a more restful afternoon.

MCCabe Travel seems to be an excellent operator. I have spoken to a lady who went on one of their tours in 2001 and she was delighted with it. We also met people on other tours in Israel and they also were very happy with their arrangements.

It was as good as we expected. A journey to remember.

Interesting and busy

We had very full days in both Jerusalem and Tiberias and visiting so many places that had only in the past been names in the Bible. Reading the Bible now is much more interesting and stories just come alive before your eyes. We are grateful to the Tour operator and to the two Ministers who led our group - Revd. Paul Wood and Revd. Ian Worsfold - they helped to make our pilgrimage one to always be remembered.

The planning evening in Coventry was excellent where a member of the McCabe staff talked about all the issues that might affect us. I liked the wallets we were sent to keep all our paper work in. We had good checking in at both Heathrow and Tel Aviv Airports and were dealt with very swiftly. We always felt fully aware of what was going on. Our Guide in Israel was excellent, spoke good English and explained everything to us and we were always aware of what was happening next. An excellent experience.

Trip of a lifetime! Busy, lots of places seen and visited, super guide and coach driver. Six nights in Jerusalem (fascinating but complex city) and three nights in Tiberias, by the Sea of Galilee - a most beautiful setting.Excellent food at both hotels.

Efficient, well organised, all paperwork and documents arrived when promised and in good time prior to holiday. Provided pre-holiday visit to a meeting of the group, to provide the opportunities for questions and queries. Very helpful.

Guide gave too much detail to be properly absorbed. Also no breaks either in the morning or afternoon which is unsatisfactory when most of the group age ranged from late 60s to early 80s. Pilgrimage needs to be tailor made to suit age group. However very pleased we went on this pilgrimage.

This is the second pilgrimage my wife and I have been with McCabe Travel and they are very good at supplying all relevant information. Pilgrimage well organised but needs to be tailor-made to suit age of the group.

Holy Land Pilgrimage Something I had wanted to do for a long time and I was not disappointed with the whole experience with care being given from the start to finish.

McCabe Travel representatives were all very friendly and efficient and provided all that was promised.

We toured as a group, visiting many of the Biblical sites in Israel and Jordan, and reflected on our experiences over breakfasts and dinners. Bible readings and services at the various locations further enhanced the experience.

McCabe Pilgrimages are experts in this particular holiday. The tour group was put together by the Rt Rev David Rossdale who also influenced the itinerary. His guiding hand, and the local and historical knowledge of our Tour guides, all contributed to a very rewarding experience.
