We spent 6 nights in Jerusalem and 4 nights at Tiberias, on Galilee. The whole trip was superbly organised. We stayed in very comfortable, well-run hotels, were driven everywhere by a very reliable and pleasant coach driver and had the services of an excellent guide. Everything ran very smoothly, so that we never had to wait upon arrival at museums, churches, holy sites or restaurants, but were ushered in promptly. It was a fascinating and enriching experience.

McCabe Pilgrimages were excellent in every respect. And we were able to visit two of the charities in Palestine which they support.

A good operator that did what was necessary to get us there & back safely with good guides.

Many interesting ancient monasteries and other sites, such as caravanserai and stone circle. Lovely scenery, beautiful wild flowers and large variety of birds. Yerevan an interesting place - museums, the Cascades etc and very good craft market on a Saturday. The people seemed friendly but language a difficulty as they mostly speak Armenian and Russian - a problem for some-one used to being able to get by with English and French! A guide is probably essential unless you can speak Armenian or Russian. Good roads and hotels and toilets at most sites of acceptable standard. Food good and plentiful.

McCabe Pilgrimages are efficient - the information they provide is very good, booking is easy and the documentation arrives when they say it will. If it is necessary to phone them they are polite and helpful. I have travelled with them five times now and am looking forward to my next trip with them.

No immediate knowledge as all was controlled by our leader Canon Stanley Finch and Mrs Finch. Excellent people.

This holiday fulfilled my wish to see the mosaics in Ravenna and the Giotto frescoes in Padua and it was great to visit Venice again.
