Wonderful arriving late afternoon and seeing the dry, rocky hills near Jerusalem and then the setting sun making the pale sandstone buildings glow. Walking through old Jerusalem .... ancient, narrow streets, worn paving slabs that got slippery in the rain, traders selling everything, lots of fellow Christians from other parts of the world. Feeling and seeing history around every corner. Then in Galilee being woken by birds singing, seeing the red sunrise glowing across the sea. Lush green areas and orchards with apple blossom. walking old footpaths down to the sea made Jesus' life come alive. All enhanced by our super guide. Worship, hymns and communion with our Revd Brian and our group was always special and in such varied places.

Easy to book at every stage. Conformation came promptly. Especially useful to have a list of books suggested and the two I read helped inform me. McCabe badge was a useful identification. Excellent itinerary, hymn book, wallet to keep things in . So well organised. Felt I was in safe, efficient hands. The company's experience showed in all the prep.

Well organised with brilliant communications and guides/operators. Straightforward transport and great itinerary. very happy to travel with this team again.

MCCabe put together an excellent balanced programme for our group which enabled us to fit in a huge amount of visits in a relatively short time, whilst still managing to keep going ! Excellent !

This was the first time I had been away on holiday without my husband/family with a group of people I didn't know very well or at all. It was an amazing experience - particularly attributable to our guide Bassam who made everyday interesting and informative, and fun. Having a guide in Jerusalem is almost essential I would say, and we couldn't have had a better one. He brought everything to life and made it very real and spiritual. We stayed 6 nights in Jerusalem, and 4 in Galilee. We spent 11 very busy days travelling around, it was exhausting but incredible - I would certainly recommend the trip it was fantastic.

McCabe Pilgrimages were very well organised, meeting us at the airport and ensuring all travellers had their documents in time. Provision of excellent hotels in great locations and an amazing tour guide (Bassam) and driver (Riyad). Would totally recommend. Such am amazing place to visit but with the benefit of a great guide - it just takes the experience to a whole new level. Thank you!

A visit to the Holy Land with an excellent and helpful guide - all that I expected. An experience which deepened my faith in Jesus as my Saviour and Lord

McCabe were efficient and very helpful, especially when we had to postpone our visit.

The main destination was to visit the Dr Graham's Homes in Kalimpong but that was only part of this wonderful Indian experience. We flew from various UK airports with Emirates to Dubai where the whole party met up and travelled on with the same airline to Kolkata. Our few days staying in the Peerless Inn were most informative and enjoyable in this very pleasant hotel. We then flew to Darjeeling with Indigo Air (another excellent flight) to enjoy the delights of this fascinating town. We were very comfortable in the Windamere Hotel. From there we travelled by jeep to the Himalayan Hotel in Kalimpong. This hotel was slightly more basic than the other two but very comfortable.Throughout the whole holiday, our leader Alistair McCabe was calm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was positive about everything and solved any minor requests quietly and efficiently. It was a most enjoyable experience and I am looking forward to joining another McCabe holiday soon.

McCabe Pilgrimages

A wonderful experience. Each day was just so special, We stared our tour five days visiting the sites in Jerusalem including a day in Bethlehem. It was facing to walk around the city and walk in Jusus footsteps. We the visited the Dead Sea and Masada what an experience also visiting QUMRAN I found our next few days in Gallilee particularly wonderful. it was amazing to be so close to the Sea of Galilee. Caprnium and the Mount of teh Beatitudes with the experience of saling across the Sea of Galille were my favourite moments.

A wonderful experience , each day was so special. The tour was so well organised and ran so smoothly. Our guide was fantastic, it was a privilege to meet him.. he was so knowlegable and made the whole experience come alive. Our leader was suportive to us all as individuals and as a group.. It was a very spiritual and uplifting experience.

Our English tour guide and the Palestinian tour guide were excellent. The tour group members blended well which added to the experience. We did see the various 'sites', where Jesus was born, where he preached, meet with Moses and Isaiah,the last supper, was tried, crucified and buried. We were told what evidence there was or best guess to support the assumptions. The food was excellent, we experience different restaurants each day. I was advertised as a Pilgrimage and it surpassed our expectations.

MaCabe travel is a company we have not used before. Others on the trip had been with MaCabe for numerous trips. We would recommend and use them again for similar type holdays.
