Most enjoyable and educational

Brilliant attention to detail

West Country Churches combined visits to great cathedrals and churches hidden away in the countryside. Would have been difficult or impossible to organise for oneself.

Martin Randall provided excellent information and made the booking and travelling experience easy and , most importantly, very friendly.

Just spent 5 days on a tour 'Celebrating William Byrd' on the 400th anniversary of his death. There were 10 concerts presented by such well renowned ensembles as Peter Phillips and the Tallis Scholars, Tenebrae, Gesualdo Six, Recordare and the Rose Consort of Viols. The concert venues and the music could not be faulted and the organisation by Martin Randall was as good as it gets.

The company is well organised, the staff are well informed, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. With Martin Randall, you are looked after from the point of your arrival until your departure.

The tour was well organized, had a good lecture and a superb manager. I would recommend it highly to friends and you.

If by tour operator you mean Martin Randall Travel, I recommend to any one who will listen to my telling them how wonderful MRT is. I have gone on many trips with MRT and are signed up for 3 more. They meet my intellectual demands and curiosity and have such well run tours.

We heard world class choirs and one consort of viols in magnificent ecclesiastical venues, and a most engaging prominent musicologist delivered two very informative lectures. Accommodation, meals and general planning were almost faultless. Martin Randall do music festivals magnificently and obviously researched down to the last detail. Staff on hand during this festival were always personable and efficient.

I could find no fault with the tour operator: they provided a seamless and enjoyable experience.

A brilliant tour of Great Houses in the North of England, visiting several well-known places, but also some less well-known ones.

You are always well looked after by their tour managers, and the tour leaders are experts in their field.

It was a 5 day tour looking at churches in Lincolnshire. Very varied. The lecturer is an expert in medieval history and was able to tell us about the development of the churches, their use, their architecture.

Great attention to detail. Lovely that everything is included in the price, so no need to worry about tipping.
