For two weeks we travelled through Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Shimla. Spring is a good time to visit these areas. It was a varied itinerary through some of the grand spectacles of New Delhi, the prosperous achievements of Chandigarh, the beauty of the Sikh Golden Temple, the excitement of the closing of the border gates ceremony and the Himalayan beauty of Shimla.

Martin Randall Travel has very good tour leaders who know their patch. The tour guide was one of the best in the field relevant to our tour. MRT's administration staff were very attentive and prompt in responding to my queries.

Beautifully organised, carefully chosen itinerary, excellent hotels and an exceptional lecturer who brought the buildings alive.

This is the third time I have travelled with Martin Randall Travel and I certainly intend to do other tours with this company. Even when the coach broke down we were well looked after and another coach was produced very promptly.

A very well thought-out programme, involving visits to a range of historical sites in Ravenna and Urbino that I did not know before. Good organisation and food, and a knowledgeable and witty lecturer.

A very rich and rewarding tour taking in much and varied art and important information about many artists, their lives, their friends and those who supported and influenced them. It was inspiring, moving, informative and led me to intend to inform others to visit these places and to take the tour and gave me a desire to find out more and visit many of these places again, especially the homes of the artists which we visited.

A week's guided tour staying in two hotels and visiting 10 different gardens. We had the services of an expert lecturer and a tour manager. Travel by plane, coach and boat was included, as were most of the meals. The itinerary was outstanding with a carefully chosen selection of gardens of different ages and types. The lecturer and the tour manager were both very good and contributed to the success of the holiday for us. Overall a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

This was our sixth Martin Randall holiday. We keep coming back because we know that we can expect a carefully planned and expertly led holiday, staying in good hotels and enjoying fine food in good company.
