Every day was amazing

Provided a great itinerary and excellent background information + Incredible attention to detail.

The title of the trip is The Taste of Le Marche. We toured small towns in the region, tasted the wines of the region and dined on fabulous food, We visited local wineries, attended food demonstrations and went on a truffle hunt, We were immersed in the region.

A week in St Petersburg, packed with palaces, cathedrals and museums, beautiful to look at, enthralling to hear the history and background. The most exciting holiday I can remember.

Meticulous organisers who take excellent care of you, find very good hotels and restaurants, and plan the trip with great care so you can see as much as possible of the most interesting and not always the most predictable sights. Very well paced, with first-rate lecturers. I have nothing but praise for them.

We enjoy the intellectual focus and aesthetic experience of these expertly guided tours. The material is very well prepared, the lecturers and tour leaders are experienced and professional, the other customers are congenial. This was a combination of walking, visiting interesting great old houses and excellent food.

A walking and history tour of Hadrian's Wall. We visited stunning natural beauty and the amazing construction and history of repairs to the Wall. Also visited many interesting forts and museums. The engineering feat of constructing the Wall was amazing.
