Something new every day!

A week in Vienna charting the rise and influence of the Habsburg dynasty in particular through the architecture, museum exhibits and art collections in the city. An excellent and varied programme shared with a small team of fellow adventurers!

Martin Randall tour of English Cathedrals was Cracking Good

We visited 10 cathedrals around the English countryside in 9 days. The lecturers did an excellent job of comparing and contrasting the buildings. There were lots of extra goodies such as organ recitals, and the lodging and food selections were excellent.

Martin Randall does a wonderful job of matching lecturers to content. The destinations were well chosen. The logistics were handled well. I really appreciated their "no tipping" policy.

Rating for tour operator:

Martin Randall picks superb hotels, excellent musicians, encourages the musicians to mingle with the guests, does not expect one person to be both efficient tour manager and knowledgable lecturer.

It was fabulous to learn so much about the customs, food and wine of a country I previously knew very little about. And to meet so many lovely people.

Stimulating and fascinating.

The Silk Road cities in Uzbekistan still have a sense of mystery even though now easily accessible. The country is sensitive to tourist needs and service everywhere was efficient and friendly.

This was a our first tour with MRT and we would not hesitate to travel with them again. From the first contact until the end of the tour our experience was entirely positive.

Food, wine and Italy - who wants more?

It was brilliant. it combined excellent food and wine with the art and culture of Le Marche, a relatively unknown area of Italy. We ate at an open air restaurant on a beach at a bay where they harvest mussels, which we ate, and we went on a truffle hunt with 2 dogs. Lots of experiences that it would be difficult to organise by oneself.
