Stunning

This was my first adventure trip, and the trip to Iceland has been very memorable. The lodge accommodation in the middle of the Lava Fields was wonderful and the natural wonders we were guided too were simply stunning. The local Icelandic guide was very knowledgeable and just knew where to take us.

KE Adventure made the booking process very simple and easy, and their staff were friendly and always ready to answer any questions I had, especially as it was the first time I had travelled on this type of holiday.

This trip was so well organised. From the booking knowledge at the KE office to the guide who loved his island. I have now done 8 trips with KE and everyone has exceeded my expectations.

Variety of volcanoes in the sun

An excellent trip around Aeolian Islands and Etna. All ferry/hydrofoil/bus connections worked well and there was plenty of walking in warm weather on a variety of different volcanic landscapes.

Guide was superb. Good English, wanted to learn new vocabulary and extensive knowledge of cultural/historical/geographical background to trip. Took trouble to produce diagrams of different volcanoes and landscape features and used them to explain what we were seeing. Organised a slight change in itinerary to avoid long wait between ferry and bus service by using private boat with extra trip to see more of Lipari coastline. Rooms on islands were good and food very good with plenty of it. No one could have lost weight despite 5 days of walking.

Classic Everest Basecamp Trek

This was a spectacular trip, led by a a very caring, supportive team of Sherpa guides and porters. The guide to client ratio was 1:2 and the pace and atmosphere were relaxed and easy-going. Expectations were superbly managed by KE's brochure and office staff.

Every attention to detail is considered and the holiday includes lots of "little extras" such as complimentary sight seeing in Kathmandu and celebratory meals.

Trek to Annapurna Sanctuary

Superbly organised trip with excellent support from Sherpas and porters; nothing was too much trouble. Annapurna Sanctuary was everything I expected and more, fantastic mountain scenery.

An absolute must if you want to see the real India

This diverse trip which took us from inland cities up into the tea growing plantations of the hills then back down again into the backwaters of Kerala was a joy to behold.I have mobility issues and could not have asked for a better introduction to India. The people are so friendly and the sights out of this world - a real eye-opener!!

KE provided us with a tour guide - Satish - who was knowledgeable and sympathetic to the needs of the group. He was especially helpful to me as I have mobility issues and he made sure that I was included in all activities wherever possible and if this was not so he made sure an alternative was available.

Trekking on the edge of the Sahara

A great four days trekking on the edge of the Sahara desert, with Hassan, our local guide. Visiting different areas on each day, it quickly became clear how varied the desert is. Each day was well paced, and carefully judged for the conditions.

Family camel trek in Morocco

We trekked with camel with our two sons age 7 and 8 to the Sahara camping along the way. We searched for fossils, visited nomads, drank mint tea in local villages and isolated oasis. We were provided with amazing meals in the most desolate places. .. Amazing ,!
