Great trekking staying in luxury lodges along the way - comfy beds, hot showers and delicious food at the end of the day with a group of like minded people. Well worth doing!

Choquequirao to Machu Picchu by Stu. Auckland NZ, 11 May 2015

Choquequirao to Machu Picchu. 10 days trekking.

Cannot say a bad word about this trip. Both KE and their ground agent in Peru Tambo Treks were fantastic. Nothing was left to chance. Everything ran super smooth and our guides Ruben and Kantu went far above and beyond the call of duty.

We booked through KE Adventure travel having used them previously for the Everest Base Camp trek. They produced the goods again without fault. Our ground agent Tambo Treks were also fantastic.

Breathtaking Scenes of History and Nature

We walked on the best parts of the St Paul Trail in Turkey. The views of high pastures and sandstone rock formations were enough to restore any winery soul. Our early spring walk also included a wide variety of wild flowers and animals grazing in the pastures. each day brought us to an interesting Roman Ruin waiting to be eagerly explored. Lunches were picnics on trail or being hosted by a local villager for traditional pancakes, yogurt and tea...

Our early spring walk also included a wide variety of wild flowers and animals grazing in the pastures. each day brought us to an interesting Roman Ruin waiting to be eagerly explored. Lunches were picnics on trail or being hosted by a local villager for traditional pancakes, yogurt and tea. Evening were spent sharing the days adventures, looking up flower names and sharing travel stories at a pension nestled in Idealic surroundings. Meals were exquisite home cooked, traditional meals, the perfect end to perfect days.

KE undertook all booking arrangements and answered queries. Sunway safaris based in Johannesburg were the local agents. Fantastically well designed 'red elephant' bus to travel in and then, open game drive 4 wheeled drive vehicles in Moremi and Chobe. Everything well organised and timekeeping good. Some on the spot rearranging due to weather conditions.

Excellent trip to Mount M'Goun in Morocco

A one week holiday starting and finishing in Marrakech. Travelled by minibus into the atlas mountains and over two days walked in to a refuge under Mount M'Goun having crossed a ridge at over 3000m. A summit day followed over snowy mountain side using ice axe, crampons and snow shoes. On the way out visitedsome famous waterfalls.

Support staff excellent and especially outstanding are the guides who go beyond the call of duty to ensure you feel very well looked after.

Winter Climb of Mt Mgoun, Central Atlas....Fantastic....get yourself booked on

A Fantastic week's trip into the remote 4000m summit of Mount Mgoun in the Central Atlas; in early March the weather was good and settled and four of the party of seven reached the summit. However,it was a long day of just over 12 hours, the snow conditions were tiring even when using snow-shoes, which means that to enjoy the experience you do need to be fit enough to be able to last a full day out at altitude, from sunrise to virtually sunset...

The gites we used were modern and comfortable, the high refuge is more basic, but if you are used to basic refuges in the Alps, you'll be fine.

Rating for tour operator:

The arrangements before and during the trip were flawless; everything ran like clock-work, without a hitch, the transport, accommodation, food, equipment and most importantly the leaders (Hassan from Morocco and Ben from UK) were all excellent. Hassan and Ben kept the group well informed and looked after us very well, other than a couple of blisters no one suffered any illness or injury, everyone stayed fit and healthy the whole trip.
