The Gran Paradiso Weekend trek is an excellent introduction to Alpine moutaineering - reasonable level of intensity (level 7 / 10 intensity noted by KE is spot on), non-technical, yet a serious peak (just over 4000m) that requires physical endurance & offers some great mixed terrain (boulder fields, glacier trekking), while also giving you all the charm of the mountain hut experience. The organization & accomodation was top notch; our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and highly experienced; and KE did an excellent job providing information & customer support in preparation for the trip. Furthermore, the low ratio of participants to guides (max 4:1) allows for a great personal interaction with the leader and close attention to the safety and enjoyment of the group. My group consisted of only three participants after a last-minute cancellation. Two of the participants had limited / no experience with Alpine mountaineering and used the weekend trip as a taster session to gauge their interest in a longer-term expedition. I believe the Gran Paradiso Weekend is a great introduction to Alpline mountaineering, and my fellow participants' comments indicated that the trip served their purposes well, with a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment. I will absolutely look to KE Adventure Travel for future expeditions further afield!

KE Adventure Travel provided high-quality accomodation, a highly-experienced and affable guide, clear & helpful communication on all key points (kit list, physical preparation, travel tips, etc.) prior to departure, as well as an accessible, friendly, and helpful customer service team. Overall, a great experience that I'd unhesitatingly recommend to friends and fellow travelers / mountaineers.

7-day guided tour to Sicily tailored for families with kids over 8 yrs. Visiting the Aeolian Islands and Mt Etna. It was an excellent trip with highlights including swimming in the warm sea, hiking along the coast and up volcanoes with sensational views, sampling lots of fantastic Sicilian cuisine and relaxing at the beach.

KE Adventure - offered a tailored trip which was well organised and used the services of a local operator from Catania in Sicily. The local guide was superb and really added to the whole experience. Information provided prior to the holiday was detailed and accurate.

The Italian high route is a great way to experience the high alps. The refuges were good and the food very good considering the location of the refuges. The scenery was brilliant and it was a terrific experience to trek on the glaciers.

Very well organised, a good mixture of terrain and challenges. All staff were excellent. The views when we saw them (bad weather unfortunately for 3 days) were fantastic and make it all worthwhile.

KE Adventure offer a massive range of adventure style holidays all over the world. The office is in the UK and it is very easy to email or phone and the staff are very knowledgeable or will pass you to someone who does know the answer. The website has lots of information and the booking paperwork is easy to understand. I was always kept up to date during the countdown to my holiday.

We went on a trip to Morocco entitled Teenage Ascent of Mount Toubkal in July this year. Interestingly there were 5 kids in our group who were not teenagers but this was not a particular problem as on the whole they were cheerful good humoured company. Our 15 year old son might have appreciated more teenage company (there were 2 other boys in their teens)The trip was perfectly organised, the walking was well paced for the climate (ie not too far or fast for the summer heat), we ate very healthy local fresh produce and enjoyed absolutely spectacular scenery. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, capable and caring.

We went with KE Adventure who provided an excellent service. All communication with them was prompt and efficient and our random questions never seemed to be too much trouble. They arranged a calligraphy workshop in Marrakesh for us and helped me with my planning of an extra session of horse riding. Would definitely be happy to book with them again and have recommended to many friends already.

Completing this route felt like a huge achievement. Led by the experienced and skilled Rob Spencer we wound our way around crevasses, over high passes, and along vertiginous paths to make our way between the two most famous peaks in the Alps - Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. Days were long - climbs were high, and the challenge was constant. It felt like a real adventure. Cleverly planned, the route took us on little used paths and it rarely felt busy - thanks to our departure day, carefully picked to avoid the rush. The high mountain huts we stayed in created a community spirit and Alpine experience unto themselves. This was a physical challenge which pushed the whole team, and left us all smiling having completed it.

We walked in three different countries: Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania. There were ascents of over a 1000m and descents of up to 1400m. The views were outstanding, the itinerary was fantastic; it was a great balance between walking and visiting the sites plus appreciating the culture. The guest house in Albania was exceptional for location and service - this should not be missed. Our guide, Semir, was exceptional. He was professional and fun. You could trust him implicitly to look after the group and put our needs and comfort before his own. He knows the mountains intimately and has a huge respect and knowledge for the environment. It was a pleasure to spend a week with him.

KE Adventure are a professional company that deserve to do well. They have chosen excellent holiday destinations giving comfort and security whilst still being able to see the more rural locations. They have given superb personal service which is what I look for nowadays. I love supporting the smaller independent travel companies as they care more about their customer; KE Adventure certainly live up to this reputation. I would not hesitate to recommend them as a very trustworthy and well-organised tour operator. They will certainly have my business in the future.
