A lovely 2nd trip to Japan to see just a taste of what is there to visit. Beautiful scenery, lovely accommodation, a great birthday night out on a boat in Tokyo, lovely visit with the Snow Monkeys, we loved Hiroshima's Miyajima Island, together with a late night Gion tour of the Geisha disctic in Kyoto - wonderful trip.

Inside Japan's Hattie made sure we were well catered for in our requests, we had appropriate accommodation together with associated guides and special occasions along the way. It was a fabulous way to spend my 60th birthday - just my husband and myself.

Our holiday in Japan was to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and it is a holiday we will never forget. We travelled From Osaka to Koyasan, to Kyoto, to Hakone and finally to Tokyo. I would quite happily have stayed in Japan for another month!

Lily at Inside Japan was superb in organising our trip, gave us good tips and kept us in the loop throughout the entire planning process, using her knowledge of Japan to full advantage.

This was a small group tour of Vietnam which was well organised with a programme which gave a good insight into the history and culture of Vietnam. The hotels and transport were always of a high quality. I always felt very safe with the drivers and the local guides were helpful and keen to share their knowledge of their country. Our tour leader was excellent, she had superb local knowledge and introduced us to places and activities which greatly enhanced our trip. Highly recommended.

We had a custom made holiday that took us from Hanoi to Saigon. We travelled to so many of the places that filled the press when we were young. It is astonishing and uplifting that Vietnam has moved on from those terrible times and seems to be such a well balanced country.

I have travelled with the company before (to Japan) and the quality of service was excellent on both occasions. Helping us to decide where to travel and advice about the journey was first rate. Great choice of hotels and tour guides.

My first holiday to Japan was such a memorable experience filled with wonderful food, wonderful and hospitable people, and endless photo opportunities!

IJT provided an opportunity for me to see 8 different cities at an affordable price point as a solo traveller. The included Rail Pass and IC Card allowed for me to take full advantage of Japan's fantastic transportation system and provided our group with an exceptional tour leader, Mark Fujishige! Although I selected a "no frills" tour I felt that the little extras were included made my trip an exceptional value. I would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone that is considering taking a small group or self guided holiday through them!

LGH to Osaka then direct to Kyoto for 4 nights, train to Takayama for 2 nights, train to Odawara for 2 nights in Hakone, train to Tokyo for 4 nights. Stayed in ryokan and small westernised hotels. Fantastic food, welcoming and courteous people most enjoyable trip.

Inside Japan provided excellent level of service throughout the booking process and the detailed information on our chosen locations was invaluable - much better than guide books! Having local agents related to IJ gave a sense of comfort even though they were not called upon.

The tour allowed us to visit a range of locations and get to see the many faces of Japan. The input of our tour leader was invaluable in finding our way around and discovering some of Japan's hidden treasures.

They did a superb job of arranging everything for us.

I visited Japan for two weeks with my Mum. She has mobility issues, but InsideJapan (Asia) Tours were very considerate in adapting the selected itinerary to suit my Mum's needs. They organised the flights, the hotels and all the relevant transport passes that I didn't even realise existed. Everything ran smoothly and the Info-Pack was a life saver, helping us find the hotels (despite the extremely close situation to the train stations anyway) and providing all the train times for the journeys between locations. The day trip suggestions and restaurant recommendations were much appreciated as they took some pressure of of us when trying to find something to eat before going back to relax at our very comfortable hotels. Each hotel (even though some were of budget classification) was comfy and provided a good service from the staff. Plenty of toilet amenities and always a complimentary bottle of water and the usual tea and coffee. I enjoyed every place we visited we in Japan, from Tokyo to Takayama. I particularly enjoyed the lush colours of the Hida Folk Village at this time of year - and the deer in Nara were a delight! I would love to go back and try some more traditional things, as I didn't stay in any ryokans or do anything like tea ceremonies to make things easier for my Mum.

Our travel consultant was professional, helpful and generally fun to talk to in general! All our needs were met where it came to good accessibility and down time. Two private tours were arranged for us and although we were a little nervous about them due to not knowing what to expect, we loved every second with them. We appreciated that female guides were arranged without us specifying, and it enabled us to see some awesome sights that we may not have found otherwise! We didn't need to make contact with the office located in Japan as everything ran so smoothly, but it was reassuring to know they were there - particularly as my Mum takes various medications and things could have quite easily have gone wrong. There are literally no faults we can find with the service we were provided. From a friendly attitude, to putting together a holiday of a lifetime which put as little stress on us as possible when it came to organising things!

I did the Hands on Japan tour with IAT. We visited a few cities, there were lots of great activities planned, our tour leader (Mark) was fantastic, and we had free time to explore on our own---all the makings of a great tour!

My experience with IAT was great. My consultant answered all of my questions (and I had a lot!). She reached out to my multiple times ahead of the trip to make sure I was all set. She sent me the trip packet in a timely fashion. All very professional.

Our first visit to Japan certainly won't be our last, and that's not just because the country has so much to offer (especially the excellent food) but because our introduction to this unique country was as made as easy as possible by InsideJapan Tours. Advised of our preferred travelling dates, including an additional couple of days on top of the 14 day example itinerary, our quote was returned quickly and by friendly staff, an experience that continued throughout the holiday. We got to see so many wonderful places, and while our hotels were booked in handy locations, we also had the flexibility of booking our own train travel, with our included Japan Rail Passes, to really feel like we were exploring independently. We've done multi-location rail holidays before, across America and the Baltic/Scandinavia, with large groups, but this was even better as we didn't have to wait for coaches or other people and could go at our pace - which is important as we're in our early 30s, generally a lot younger than the other people we've travelled on these holidays with before. I can't wait to return to Japan, and when we do we'll definitely see what InsideJapan Tours can offer us for our second taste!

InsideJapan Tours provided excellent care, before, during and after the holiday. Our original quote was provided quickly, and they incorporated changes we made on a couple of occasions. While in Japan we ran into a situation where we had to call the local office, who were fantastic, contacting our hotel to inform them we'd be late (through a fault of our own!). While in Japan we had booklets with itinerary, general Japan information, and then separate booklets with details of each city we stayed in. These were invaluable, and used in conjunction with our travel guide, we found some excellent places to eat and sight-see. I would highly recommend InsideJapan Tours for anyone heading off to Japan, whether for the first time or repeat customers.
