We had an amazing 17 night self drive trip to Namibia taking in Windhoek, Etosha, Swakopmund and the coast and finally the Namib desert. The wildlife was fantastic - saw lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, rhino and much more. The people were friendly and welcoming and the food and standard of accommodation at all the places we stayed at were either generally very good or excellent.

Expert Africa staff really were expert in their knowledge of the country, its highlights, accommodation options and trip suggestions. Our holiday lived up to all our expectations and the experience of the country, people and wildlife will stay with us for a very long time.

Expert Africa helped us plan our first trip to Namibia in August 2015. It was a superb experience which will live with us forever. We spent two and a half weeks driving ourselves through spectacularly beautiful and ever-changing terrain, staying in fantastic places and enjoying the marvels of nature that abound all over the country. All the arrangements made for use were impeccable. The information provided by Expert Africa was terrific, preparing us extremely for all aspects of the trip and deepening our understanding and enjoyment of all that we saw and did. Thanks to Expert Africa, it was our first trip to this wonderful country, but it won't be our last.

We went to The Victoria Falls, first, then on to Botswana on safari. We had no blips with either accommodation, transport, facilities or anything included in the organization of our holiday.

This was a long-awaited safari to Zambia to see Elephants, Lions and leopards in the wild, culminating in a visit to Zimbabwe and the Victoria Falls. It began with four days in Luangwa park at Luangwa Safari House where expert guides took us within patting distance of lions, elephants and giraffe. From there to Chongwe River Camp on the banks of the Zambezi, with river trips and sundowners and the chance to see ranging elephants at large in the expanse of the lower Zambezi basin. From there a private charter flight took us over Victoria Falls to Zimbabwe for a fabulous stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel. Every stage was flawless, the accommodation, food and activities beyond what I might have asked for, yet fully in keeping with my timing and other constraints. A holiday beyond what I might have imagined.

This was not my first safari, but it was my first trip with Expert Africa. Attention was paid to every detail, not just the wildlife I hoped to see but the sort of ambience in mind, the best logistics, right through to inoculations and dietary requirements. With all this they also paid careful heed to budget, carefully selecting accommodation, flights and timings to ensure I got the most from my break. Each of the venues proved well-chosen and it was clear from talking to the lodge owners that they know the Expert Africa team personally. This lent a very special feel to the holiday; more bespoke than travel agency. It was also clear that considerable thought had been given to the order in which I visited the various locations, given my requests. The itinerary led me on an emerging journey to see an Africa that I had never imagined - despite having undertaken a similar trip previously some years ago.

Expert Africa helped my husband and I put together the most amazing honeymoon in Tanzania. Everything was so well organized from airport pickups to internal flights and accommodations- it really made the whole holiday so stress-free so we could truly enjoy each other's company and go with the flow. I feel that we got to experience a true taste of what Africa is all about from its wildlife and animals to its beaches and friendly people. A really eye-opening and educational trip for the both of us. I am sure this won't be the last time we visit Africa, with the help of the staff at Expert Africa to help us navigate our way around!

James at Expert Africa put together the most amazing package for us and it really was a treat not to worry so much about the small details, since there was nothing James hadn't thought to include! We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip and I silently thanked James the whole time we were there for making our honeymoon so easy and just perfect. Thanks Expert Africa!

Wonderful trip to Victoria Falls and Botswana . Very good hotels and safari camps , all in very different interesting locations Not at all impressed with South African Airways - very poor .

A walking safari in South and North Luangwa Zambia. This was ( and is) the best way to see the flora and fauna of the African bush .

We have been using Expert Africa for many years now and they have helped us arrange trips to Zimbabwe, Botswana South Africa and Namibia and this year Zambia. We have found their agents to be efficient courteous and knowledgeable and the holidays they arrange superb.

We are a family of four, with the children aged 20 and 23, and did a driving tour around the main sights in Namibia. We had a fantastic time - we loved the scenery, landscapes, game reserves and overall experience of the country. We travelled around the country in an anti-clockwise direction from Windhoek, travelling to Erongo Wilderness Lodge, then up to Etosha, staying at private reserves on both the east and west sides of Etosha. We saw large concentrations of game at the waterholes. From there we drove to Damaraland Camp, which was the highlight of our trip. We went on a superb drive to see the desert adapted elephants in Damaraland. We then drove all the way down the Skeleton Coast from Torra Bay to Swakopmund. Whilst there two of us did a day trip to Sandwich Harbour with Turnstone Tours and the children enjoyed sand boarding and quad biking with Desert Explorers. We finished our trip at Kulala with a visit to the fantastic landscape at Sossusvlei. Overall we drove more than 2500km around Namibia - driving was easy on straight roads with no traffic. The people in Namibia were friendly everywhere we went and we always felt safe.

Expert Africa were brilliant in helping us organise our trip. Their brochure and web site are both excellent and we got great support from their team in getting advice on where to stay and how to structure the holiday. The documentation they provided was very comprehensive so we were very well prepared when we arrived in Namibia. We also got vey good support from the team at Wilderness Safaris at Windhoek Airport. I will definitely use Expert Africa again when I next travel to Africa and would recommend them to others.
