We travelled from Windhoek to Sossusvlei, then Walvis Bay, Damaraland, Grootberg, Etosha then back to Windhoek. We had a great time at Kulala Desert Lodge, including a wonderful day in the dunes, including dead Vlei. Staff at Kulala were extremely helpful. We saw wonderful flamingoes at Walvis Bay and made the most of the fresh seafood. Doro Nawas and Grootberg Lodge were both above our expectations with amazing sightings of large numbers of desert elephants and black rhino (tracked on foot). In Etosha, we stayed mainly in the rest camps with the bush chalets being of good quality, clean and comfortable and the food at dinners and breakfasts also of high quality. We were lucky to find leopard by one of the waterholes and spent quite a long time following lions that we initially found drinking early in the morning, then again in the late afternoon. Having returned to Windhoek, our last night was spent at Olive Exclusive - amazing for a city centre property with wonderfully equipped suites and, again, excellent food. Everything was really well organised and very good value for money. We would certainly return.

Expert Africa were great from giving advice on our route and possible places to stay, through to their follow up on our return. Following a minor accident, we had some issues with our hire car and Sabina Hekandjo willingly stepped in from the UK and liaised with the hire car company to ensure our holiday was not disrupted. This was our second trip to Namibia with them, Sabina has been very helpful and knowledgable on both occasions. We are very impressed and will certainly use Expert Africa again. We have total confidence in them.

We had a great holiday! We stayed 3 days at Machaba Camp, "glamping" in the Delta. We then spent a couple nights in Chobe NP at Chobe Game Lodge, and then traveling on to the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls. We also had a couple nights on our own in Botswana, where we had other arrangements. The lodges were excellent, and the safaris did not disappoint! Our family (including a 3 year old), all vegetarians, felt very taken care of on all parts of our trip.

Given that we were traveling as a family with a small child, I found it very hard to find the best arrangements, but our operator helped us tremendously. She recommended specific lodges that would accommodate children, as well as a desired itinerary that would work for us. She understood our needs/wants, and helped book all the logistics. Given that i was already doing logistics on travel to/from, I was very relieved to not do it all myself, and I was VERY impressed that every single arrangement went off without a hitch.

Expert Africa. This was the 4th time we have used them and once more they have exceeded our expectations in what they have delivered to us. I am sure we will be using them again, hopefully soon!!

We had an excellent safari id two bush camps with good game viewing given the amount od grass and foliage making locating game difficult. A few days R & R at the end was good following the full on activities in the bush leaving little 'down time' Very enjoyable overall and well organised by Expert Africa.

Expert Africa went out of their way in organising the trip especially as one camp had to be changed at last minute due to flooding.

In January, 2016, I made what was probably my 30th visit to Africa since 1974. I have retained many land operators in many countries in West, Central, East, South, and North Africa. We have just returned from a two week, four centre, holiday which was arranged for us by Richard Trillo of Expert Africa. The holiday was outstanding in every respect. We had met with Richard to discuss what we wanted and he tailored the holiday to perfectly fit our desires.We were most impressed with teh camps he chose for us and the attention to detail, right down to having our own personal driver for our last day in Nairobi, recommendation of restaurant for lunch, etc. Every details had been thought through and worked seamlessly. If we go on safari again we would always come to Expert Africa.

Our tour operator's knowledge of Kenya is comprehensive and with the choice of so many camps we could have chosen to stay in, he guided absolutely to the right choices but left the final selection to us.

A group of us travelled to Rwanda to visit the mountain gorillas. Expert Africa did a wonderful job of helping us organize this trip and all worked out beautifully. I will highly recommend this company to friends.

After listening to what I wanted Expert Africa put together all the separate elements (hotels, bush-camps, transfers, flights, etc) of my trip into a seamless wonderful experience. I stayed in 4 different places with varying degrees of luxury but the main purpose of my trip - wildlife viewing on safari - was exactly what I had hoped for. Knowledgeable guides helping me understand animal behaviours.

I've travelled with Expert Africa a few times before so they know my preferences and where I've been before. They still took the time to discuss with me what I wanted from my recent trip and then gave me a number of options that I could look at on their extensive website. This made it easy for me to choose. Once the bare bones were in place, the agents local knowledge was invaluable. He was able to make a number of very helpful suggestions such as places to eat close to the airport on the evening of my return home.

We chose to visit Tanzania in the wet season which due to greater rains than usual created unexpected challenges which Expert Africa dealt with in their usual efficient manner. We visited 2 safari camps and 1 'R&R' camp and had an overnight stop over in Dar on the outward journey and a short break in Dubai on the homeward journey. We had a fantastic trip - all the camps we visited were of a very high standard of accommodation and service. The guiding and driving at the safari camps was very good especially considering the terrain had been devasted by the unusually heavy and prolonged rains and game viewing was made harder by the long grasses and dense foliage. We had a fantastic holiday and cannot wait to repeat the experience.

We have used the Expert Africa on many occasions and have never found another specialist Africa company that can match their in depth knowledge of the Continent. There is always someone at Expert Africa who has visited the destinations that we wish it visit ( and we do choose some very off beat places). They have such experience and knowledge and like to get to know their clients so that are able to give suggestions and advice which is very personal . We cannot praise Chris Mc Intyre and his team enough. We have and will continue to recommend Expert Africa to anyone who wants to see the real Africa.
