Since my birthday and the solar eclipse were so close I decided to knock something off my bucket list as a birthday gift. My husband and I went to Tanzania on safari to see the solar eclipse and snorkel off Zanzibar. We spent time in Ruaha and Selous. Both parks had lovely "glamps" and plenty of game and bird sightings. I would not have gone to Tanzania except that the eclipse was best seen there. I was wrong. It was better than my previous trips to Namibia, South Africa, Zambia or even Botswana.

I have been to subsaharan Africa 7 times but this is the first time I used Expert Africa. Their website caught my eye and proved to be a superb resource. Ellie was prompt pleasant and professional. When I had trouble paying the final installment on the web I shot off an email and they returned it almost immediately (even though it was 1 AM GMT). Turned out it was my fault as I didn't know my husband had already made an account. I will use Expert Africa for any future travel to Africa even though they are in England and I am in the USA.

An excellent 2 camp safari in Tanzania followed by a short stay in Stonetown, Zanzibar.

Two weeks in Tanzania: one on safari in Selous and Ruaha game reserves/parks in great lodges, going on thrilling games drives and spotting wonderful animals and birds. Followed by a week on Mafia and Chole islands in the Indian Ocean, relaxing, snorkelling and seeing baby turtles hatch.

Efficient, helpful, pleasant and ensured everything ran smoothly - excellent company.

All the paperwork is first class and the arrangements whilst on holiday with the numerous African travel agents, airlines etc is second to none. Everything went seemlessly even though our itinerary was complicated.

A trip to South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. The trip included stays in 3 game lodges and travel from the UK . All aspects of the trip were organised by Expert Africa. It was a perfect experience for us. We are in our mid 70s but we were able to travel hassle free. We were taken on game drives, in groups of never more than 4, by very competent and interesting guides. We had a number of escorted walks again in small groups. International transport was well organised and all arrangements worked like clockwork

The operator (Expert Africa) put together an excellent package. Our communication was with one member of staff in whom we had complete trust, He built a good rapport with us from the start. We felt that he understood our needs and he certainly delivered a package that was well above our expectation

We stayed in Stone Town, went on safari in Ruaha and stayed by the beach in Zanzibar. All the arrangements Expert Africa made for us went smoothly and their recommendations for the above itinerary were perfect.

Our trip was a two country (Zambia and Malawi) safari holiday with Expert Africa and Robin Pope Safaris. From start to finish I cannot fault our experiences. We had the most exciting time and have the most vivid memories which will always live with us. We certainly did not expect to be so intimately exposed to the wildlife in such a safe and informative manner.

Expert Africa are clearly experts and put together a magnificant, bespoke holiday for us.

What a spactacular experience. Eleven days on safari, four camps, amazing wildlfe and the great migration to boot. Our trip was everything we had hoped for and more. And everything came together like clockwork.

We had a splendid, wonderful, amazing, "when can I go back"- safari holiday in Zambia! The lodge we booked through Expert Africa met and exceeded by far all our expectations. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the drinks were always cold and of a very good quality, the location is stunning, the facilities are incredible. The country is also very welcoming to tourists and the people are really very very nice! Loved every minute and can't wait to go back!

We knew which lodge we wanted to book when we contacted our tour operator. However questions do always come up once the trip gets closer and we always received a very friendly and prompt reply. The amount of information we received was also incredible! We will definitely book again with Expert Africa!
