Our holiday to Sri Lanka was organised by Experience Travel and they were absolutely wonderful - taking into account our personal needs and advising of possible itineraries within the time available. This was a "once in a lifetime" holiday for us and it lived up to our expectations.

Our Tour Operator, Experience Travel, were great - they listened to our ideas and took on board our requests re: food and hotels. The representative in London, Becky Grainger, phoned us and discussed our "ideal" holiday and put together a wonderful itinerary. We tweaked a few issues and came up with a mixture of culture, safari, beach and relaxation. They were not pushy and we felt they tailor made our holiday for us.

We used Experience Travel Group to travel to Sri Lanka and the Maldives in August. A family of five, we travelled extensively through Sri Lanka and ended with four days in the Maldives.

Brilliant tour operator. Becky Grainger was our travel consultant and planned a brilliant holiday. She listened to us and organised a great itinerary, very organised. We had no problems at all, it was seamless and it was a fantastic experience for us as a family.

We saw many of the sites one should see when visiting Sri Lanka: Sigirya, wildlife parks, temples, etc. But Experience Travel Group took us deeper, creating excursions that allowed us to experience Sri Lanka on a deeper, more personal level. We connected with locals and got a great picture of daily life. We learned as much about being Sri Lankan as we did the history of the nation.

Sara Wells designed our itinerary to meet our varied personal desires, a combination of cultural exploration and quiet leisure time. This tailored experience led to an incredible, life-changing journey for our family.

We stayed in a mixture of luxury and unusual accommodation..... mud huts, shacks in the middle of The Knuckles, tents on the river, tracking, white water rafting and swimming in water falls.... as well as the usual tourist trail. our driver/guide became part of the family and guided us through our holiday... gently steering us. we left for an adventure and came back with fantastic memories and a fondness for the people of Sri Lanka... plus a strong desire to return.
