We are a family of 4 (inc kids of 13 and 10 years old). We spent 4 nights in Cape Town staying at the Lawhill Appartments on the V&A waterfront. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and a great location for accessing restaurants and shops. We had a car hire for that time which gave us the flexibility to explore further afield e.g. Cape of Good Hope. We then took an internal flight to Jo'berg and had a private road transfer to Madikwe where we stayed at Jaci's lodges for 3 nights. We had booked the Nare suite which was the jewel in the crown. We had an amazing experience there.... the staff, the accommodation, the food, the safari. Nothing to fault. It was a shame to come back home.

Abi, Amy and the rest of the team were knowledgeable and really helpful and made the planning and decision making process really straightforward. The information shared was clear so the trip went very smoothly and there were no unpleasant surprises.

We had a wonderful two locations holiday - 5 days in Cape Town and 4 days on the South Africa/Botswana border at Madikwe. Bushbaby Travel organised a wonderful holiday. Great accomodation and an absolutely fabulous safari. We saw everything we could have seen - and one or two things we didn't even know about (African wild dogs and genets). Jaci's safari lodge was a particular favourite with us all. Stunning setting, wonderful animals, knowledgeable guide and fantastic food. We had such a wonderful time. A holiday of a lifetime!

Bushbaby were really good at understanding what we wanted to see/do - but also our concerns about travelling (we are not experienced travellers). They made everything so easy and everything went without a hitch. We couldn't have asked for more.

We went to Botswana and Zambia, visiting the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park and the Victoria Falls.

Bushbaby Travel was an excellent tour operator. At all times we were informed and kept abreast of all elements of our trip, which had been expertly put together and planned by people who really know their area. A last minute cancellation was dealt with brilliantly and we felt supported and encouraged at every stage of our journey. Hugely recommended.

Bushbaby were brilliant. We had to rearrange the trip multiple times because of covid and nothing was too much trouble.

Bush baby travel always delivers something exceptional. The itinerary they suggested for us was spot on. They always find beautiful hotels that aren't on the normal tour operator websites. The organised tours were excellent, far superior than ones booked directly with hotels. We had an amazing holiday.

Camps Bay; Franschhoek; Plettenberg Bay then safari in Kwandwe. Saw spectacular, beautiful scenery, stayed in lovely hotels, met lots of friendly, helpful people and were taken on safari by proper experts and saw plenty animals.

Chose excellent locations; payed attention to detail and everything worked like clockwork.

We spent 10 wonderful days at La Pirogue in Mauritius... In the words of my daughter "I feel like I'm in paradise!". La Pirogue is a lovely resort, with beautiful thatched bungalows spread through gardens littered with tall palm trees, right on the beach. The resort staff are welcoming and helpful, and genuinely make you feel at home... they really can't do enough for you. The food is good and varied, the entertainment is of high quality, the facilities are great for the family, including some fun water sports and a kids club offering a variety of activities. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and well serviced. All round, a great holiday and I hope we'll be back some time.

From start to finish (and through some difficult COVID times), Bushbaby have been wonderful, from finding the hotel that met our needs, answering our questions, to the final booking details when it came to depart. They offer a personal reflection of their experiences, and how they match with what we're looking for. Throughout they are communicative, responding out of normal hours when needed, and provide a clean and easy service for booking a holiday. I can't recommend them enough.

We travelled around South Africa, primarily Cape Town and Western Cape areas for 2 weeks. We visited some wonderful hotels and can’t wait to go back again next year.

We've had a great time at the LUX South Ari Atoll. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was lovely and the location was beautiful.

This is the second time we booked a holiday with Bushbaby and we'd very highly recommend Abi & her team. They are location experts and gave us a lot of advice and helped us make the right decision for our family holiday.
