4 days Cape Town, 3 days Madekwi Safari & 8 nights on Praslin.

Experienced and keen to deliver the right package at the right budget.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children (aged 19 and 15) and travelled to Vietnam for our family holiday this year. After a 12 hour direct flight we arrived at our first destination Hanoi, where our truly amazing adventure began. We toured the city on a motorbike and ate delicious food before travelling to the countryside side in Ninh Binh. Our hotel Tam Coc Garden hotel was wonderful with a beautiful back drop of the mountains. We then moved onto Hoi An, as unfortunately our trip to Halong Bay had to be cancelled due to bad weather. Even though it was rainy season, it didn’t spoil our holiday at all with no more than about 5-10 minutes of rain per day. Hoi A was a magical place with all the lanterns and boats and we managed to squeeze in a local cookery class here with a basket boat ride which was fun. Again the food was excellent. Our next destination was Hue with its impressive Citadel and tombs ( can get a bit hot in the Summer but well worth the trip) after which we travelled South to Ho Chi Minh, the bustling capital city. HCMC was fascinating and slightly sobering with our visit to the war remnants museum and visit to the Cu a hi tunnels ( not for the claustrophobic ones- like me!- well worth seeing the tunnels even if you don’t go down them!) We then visited the Mekong delta to see how locals make their livelihoods on the fruit farms and on the boats. We were treated to one of the last few remaining authentic floating markets before returning to Ho Chi Minh and home again. We spent 2 1/2 weeks in this beautiful country with such delicious food and such friendly people. It certainly was a holiday never to forget.

The operator in Vietnam was EXO travel. All the guides were very informative and very helpful especially when our Halong bay trip was cancelled.

Bush baby curated a multi centre tour based on my brief of a lone parent travelling with 3 teenage boys. I set a strict budget and they more than exceeded our brief and expectations. We travelled from the North to the South of the country in what was the perfect blend of action and relaxation.

Bushbaby we’re totally professional and supportive as this holiday was postponed then cancelled before finally going ahead in 2023. They were polite,friendly,quick to respond and made very perceptive suggestions to personalise the itinerary .

Great experiences in Borneo, excellent accommodation at each stage of the trip, and well organised tours throughout, bookended by fantastic stays in Singapore.

Sun Gardens offered us great family accommodation for a three generation holiday. Everyone was happy with the big array of activities, little beach and warm sea. Dubrovnik old town via the sea taxi was a highlight!

In-depth knowledge about the destination including tips that were real gems. Efficient and very helpful when we had to unexpectedly change plans in the last few weeks. I have travelled with Bushbaby Travel before many times and I will undoubtedly again.

We started with a 3 night safai at Jaci's tree houses in Madikwe Game Reserve and it was absolutley fantastic. Luxury, yet very friendly and welcoming accomodation and staff, superb food and amazing game drives. We stayed a night at the Southern Sun airport hotel and again had a very comfortable night and delicious food. We spent the next 6 nights at the Savoy in the Seychelles. It is brilliantly located on the beach and has a wonderful pool. Breakfast was delicious.

Every arrangement, and there were many for htis holiday, went without a hitch. From starting the booking process to the time we went on holiday, they accomodated our every need, kept to a budget, recommended and suggested things we had not thought of, answered any questions I had without delay and were just absolutely superb. You do not need to worry about any of the arrangemmnets when you book with Bushbaby, they really do a superb job.

Fantastic jeep safaris at Savute; fascinating trip to the Tsolido Hills to see stone age art; amazing camp setting at Oddballs in the Delta, with hippos just in front of the tent and incredible walking safaris

Our trip included accommodation at 3 separate camps, run by two different companies and 8 flights in total (4 international and 4 small plane transfers within Botswana. The whole thing went like clockwork. We could never have organised a trip like that ourselves.
